Coming up quickly... I will be playing a pretty full schedule since it is the last wsop before I'm married and who knows how quickly a kid will pop out. Anyone playing anything? I will most likely be doing a lot of blogging like last year, wsop seems to be the only time I can even halfway keep up on it, so check that out if you are bored.

I am going to try and make it out for the 2-7 triple draw and 7 card hi/low.

I love triple draw and the only 2 triple draw tournaments that I have ever played I made it into the final table. I hope to go deep in that event since the field will not be that large because of all the other tournaments at the same time

Matt, I am one of your biggest fans.
Good luck with the cards, and more importantly, good luck with the wedding and marriage.

All the best.

Go to the RIO and play all of the satellites, they are very soft and you can play the smaller satellites and accumulate enough tournaments chips to buyin to the main event.

I'm going to be out there all summer and will most likely be at the V most of the time.

Well, unfortunately I will have to go the online route. I'm not able to go to Vegas at this time. I've read on 2 plus 2 that the reason it's difficult to win steps 5 and 6 are because of the experts that play those to win multiple seats. Plus, I don't like the fact that step 6 is one winner take all. They should break it down to include more winners or at least make the tables with 9 players.

tfan, you need to try the steps on ultimatebet, they usually pay 3 or 4 places per step. A few steps pay 6 places, but 6th place is small

I've heard but I'm just leery of that place because of what's happened over the last year or so.

Fulltilt has some really good super satellites

I've got accounts at both PS and FT. I'll check them out, thanks...

"Id love to see PO in a final table rerun on ESPN but Im not sure if my 32 inch tv would capture him"

"If he does make it, it might be the only time ever a final table consists of only 8 players"

Good luck Matt :)

I would suggest trying to sat into the $650 sunday wsop sat on stars. They guarantee 25 seats this year so they have now become huge 1100 player fields giving out like 60 seats. You can do $36 double shootouts into them and I am sure there are a lot more satellites as well.
