WSEX Update...

Hello all...Hope you're all enjoying the Cowboy/Eagle game,

Some of you may remember I posted here 10 days ago about getting the run around with WSEX on a $2000 payout. Well it's 10 days later and still no money. I've spoken with many people there, some telling me the bank they were using closed or the processor screwed up a batch of checks that mine was in. I even had one girl named Beckie tell me that they've paid out a lot of checks to other people during this time as if that was going to make me feel better. "Don't worry sir, we're paying everyone but you". Awesome!

Today I called and spoke with a Judy who seems to have a more managerial role there. She seemed genuinely concerned about my plight and I felt like she was indeed trying to get me my money but unfortunately her promise of a tracking number by EOD today did not happen as I expected.

Even Wilheim seems to have given up as I have heard from him in 5 days after he was to call the "Big Boss" whoever that is. But it's not really his problem and I do appreciate the efforts.

Anyway, it's now been 21 days since they started the process and 24 days since I called for this payout and counting...

Is anyone else having payout delays of 3 or 4 weeks to a month?

fwiw, every now and again there are delays, and sometimes some customers get the worst of it, I am 99.9% sure u will get paid.

re-send an email to wilheim asking him for an update, I can assure you he has not "given up" as you mentioned.

No idea where my previous post went. I assumed once I spoke to Wilheim privately via email he took down the post as I know post with negative slant on endorsed books isn't greatly welcomed especially if it was an honest mix up by the book which does happen. I actually used to post all the time here back in the late 90's under a different screen name that i can't even remember.

I understand its stressful, but try not to worry, WSEX is really a TOP NOTCH out, even the best companies have bumps in the road.

Don't apologize not your fault. Believe it or not this is the first payout issue I've ever had. I even got checks from ESB/Telebet back in the day but those were different times I guess.

I just had a withdrawal from late July show back up in my WSEX account. Apparently the result of their "processor problems". This BS is getting real tired and it is no longer amusing.
Basically there are two kinds of people in this world --- those who pay you and those who don't.

I started a thread on 8/29 where I mentioned that a poster in the WSEX thread at the 2+2 forum was getting tossed from the site for bad mouthing them.....

And noted there were two players waiting to get paid by WSEX and asked if anybody else was having a problem there......

Wilhelm replied to the thread by saying, "This player banned from the WSEX Poker Room argument is on his own. I cannot help him. I will help Rx posters always for as long as it takes to resolve a situation but strangers who needlessly abuse staff who are just doing their jobs can look eleswhere."

I then added, "wilheim, in the thread management suggests they were gonna pay off the guy they tossed right away

I don't think he needs any help...."

As it turns out, the player that was tossed got paid off in ONE WEEK......

But the two players waiting to get paid, still hadn't been paid by the time the guy tossed got his money!!!
That meant those two guys were waiting over 3 and 4 weeks for their over-night checks!!!!

So Clapton, YES there are others in the same boat as you!

I sent you an email just now regarding your situation, you will hear from WSEX today and be paid very soon. Comparing your withdrawal to what happend in the WSEX poker room that was posted at the poker website 2+2 is like comparing apples to oranges.

You have nothing to worry about regarding your withdrawal if you will just give it a little time.

You first emailed me on Septeber 5th a Friday, I made a call to WSEX that very day and was informed that your case was being looked into. You emailed me again on September 10th last Wednesday after which I made another call and was told that a new check was being cut, unfortunatley it didn't get shipped as of yesterday 3 business days later.

Bottom line in 10 days I have 19 emails and have made three long distance phone calls regarding this matter, I am certain you will be contacted today by WSEX either by telephone or email and you will have your check very soon.

WSEX has never not paid anyone in their long history that I know of.

Following this very carefully as good customer is waiting for the money's he is owed to pay me. if he doesn't get money by Friday, he will go ahead and pay. It is a small 5 figure payout and he has been waiting 21 day's or at least that is his story to me and i have never had one bit of a problem with him for over twenty years.:think2:

Just wanted to update everyone that I have indeed just received my tracking number. My check is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. A big thanks goes out to Wilheim for making this happen. I would suggest anyone having trouble of any kind with an endorsed RX book to see Wil and/or SportSavant.

Thanks for the update Clapton,

fwiw, not that it is really relevent, but last week I requsted a payout via MONEYGRAM from Matchbook, which is a sister site of WSEX and I had it within 1/2 hour.

This is what makes me tend to beleive that it is TRUE that they are facing processing challenges, but there is really no problems other than that with the book itself.

Yup, we live in a different time. 10 years ago if you didn't get paid it was because you were with a bad book. These days we seem to have finally gotten rid of the all the ESB's of the online sports world but now it all of these regulations that are in the way.
