Wsex - Omg!!!

Ok, here it goes. So I open an account at WSEX. The only way I can deposite money into my account is through echeck, but their echeck system is down. So I'm kicking it around the interactive seeing what its all about. Thats why I joined WSEX in the first place. For the hell of it, I see an interactive game that has ended. To see what the hell would happen, now remember I was messing around, I sell 1092 contracts at $100 each. So WSEX puts $109,200 in my account, but it is restricted. Well this sits in my account for several days. I contact them to see what is what and they tell me that I need to call and talk to some dude named Calvin and they clear the $109,200 from my account. So finally I call and he totally bashes me upside the head with the phone. He basically said I was trying to rip them off and "Banging interactive and I need to stop it because I was annoying him." I was dumbfounded and simply hung-up. So WSEX is really pissed off at me right now. I think that I uncovered a flaw in there software or an employee messed up and they are taking it out on me. They really think that I thought I would get $109,200 from them without ever depositing any money in my account. I shouldn't have said anything to them and let that $109,200 sit in my account for ever. Needless to say, I will not be betting at WSEX, which is to bad because its a pretty cool site. Well thats my story and I'm sticking to it. This is the weirdest experience I have ever had with a book. Anyone else got any crazy stories to tell? I hope WSEX doesn't accuse everyone of ripping them off. In fact, they should give me some kind of bonus for uncovering their software flaw...joking.... Take care all

I don't think you've uncovered any great flaw. Even with no money in your account, you should always be able to sell a contract a $100, since there is zero risk to you.

it out. I am confused as to why you sold over 1,000 contracts. Calvin reacted the way he did because we have had many scammers try to sell contracts after
the game is over hoping the price will go down and they can buy them back cheaper. This doen't work, but it causes alot of work undoing the trades for Calvin. I am sorry your first experience with WSEX was not pleasant. If you

Thank You Steve for the explanation and the offer. I do see now where Calvin was coming from. I sold over a 1,000 contracts just to see what the hell would happen, which I guess was stupid on my part. I never figured it would restrict $109,200 in my account for ever. But, if I was trying to scam WSEX I certainly wouldn't try to scam $100,000 when I never even deposited money in my account. Sorry for the confusion. I will certainly give WSEX a try when your echeck system is back up.

It sounds like he was selling short at $100 atfer the game was over, so he would buy at $100 also, it wouldn't cost him anything. No money exchange would actually take place.

I've never dealt with wsex but I gotta say I'm very impressed by the customer service. Hats off to them.
