WSEX joins CRIS books with transfer fees !...

Wow, that sucks. And just think about a week ago I wrote a long post praising them and their unique role in the offshort biz. I could see charging for outside transfers, but not to Matchbook?! Insane.

I guess they were tired of people hammering their decent-limit echecks, doing a quick rollover and then moving the money right out.

I wouldn't call them useless quite yet, but this does hurt.

I did an e-check on Oct 11th with them, for the exact purpose of rolling it a bit ( at least 5X), and transferring into Matchbook ( the no deposit method book). These fees took effect " a few days ago". I will never use them again.

The good news is MB is supposed to come up with a deposit method " next week", and they don't charge for transfers. They supposedly are working out details with WSEX, and MAY change their minds on fees within the same company.

The only reason I'm there is to transfer into MB, I made that clear two weeks ago.

WSEX wouldn't be the book of choice to get a fast check. I have no problem with a book like Betjam or Greek requiring a 4-5X rollover on incoming transfers, before cutting a check, or doing a transfer.

At least give one transfer ( or check) a month for free.

nobodys perfect doug, but I will still play at WSEX, and they will continue to offer me good value SOME of the time. Recently played Montreal to win grey Cup there at odds of +350 which were higher than anywhere else. Last night they had +2 on Miami dolphins which was the best line anywhere. Earlier in the week they offered Arizona +5 and were one of the only books to offer that price.

Everything is relative, however, if you are serious about making money, id find it hard to imagine that WSEX not be one of your weapons.

Sadly, MB has said they will have a new deposit "in a few days" SINCE AUGUST. So that's not good.

Hopefully they will allow free to MB, or 1 per month free to MB, something...This is already rolled-over money, so they have had a shot at it and are not being used just "as a processor", SS.

I encourage everyone to email/chat them that transfers need to be free to MB or they will lose business.

Yes, call them to express your displeasure with these fees.

The money is rolled ( no bonus, either) at least 10X in my case, they had their shot to win it, now I just want to get it into the exchange, where the line is better 99% of the time.

WSEX has no utility left SS, if you have to pay to transfer to another book ( like 5D).

At minimum they need to transfer free ( monthly) with their sister MB.

they lack a lot in offerings compared to a 5D or a Greek... no quarters, team totals,props,etc.

compare their lines to 5D ( reduced) or MB, how often would they (WSEX) have a better line, than just those two outs ? I'd guess about 1% of the time.

I think they may grandfather us in, this time.

They should at least give some notice, like:

And that 1% is a reduced juice interactive before the game with *no* liquidity. The other night I used it to grab a -104, got a partial fill of only 1 contract (~50$) and it moved to -108. Crazy.

I respect their history, and have been a customer forever and plan to keep my account open and potentially active, but they need free Xfers to MB or at least give MB the same deposit options - why wouldn't they ? (other than the fact they make a lot more money if your cash stays at WSEX instead of MB).

I could move money at will, what a concept !

I used to routinely have 20 funded accounts, and 100+ more that I could get into in a minute.

Now there aren't 20 that I'd trust.

WSEX is just unimportant, except that they are Matchbook, which makes them important.

They are just another full-juice book, albeit a Pioneer book. They are Bookmaker with even less to offer, essentially.

again, i never stated they have the best line ALL of the time, I stated they do SOME of the time. Your example proves nothing.

Matchbook, Pinny, Greek, Cris, 5 dimes, nobody had Montreal to win Grey Cup at +350 when I placed my very large wager, but WSEX did.... do to me those opportunites make them well worth while.

Philly +1.5 is -135 at 5D instead of -150 at WSEX
over 8.5 is +109 at MB, instead of -105 at WSEX
Phil ml is +158 at MB, +155 at 5D, instead of +148 at WSEX
TB -1.5 is +132 at MB, instead of +130 at WSEX... very close, but edge to MB by a tad
under 8.5 is -112 at MB, -115 at WSEX... slight edge to MB
TB ml is -160 at WSEX and MB... WSEX wins this one, by the commission ( 1%). But you could make an offer to beat that.
