First off todays game validates Terry Bradshaw's opinion of Mike Tomlin. He is avg at best. The guy was clueless today, completely out coached by Bellichek. Of course many coaches don't match up to Bellichek, but Tomlin is the afc version of Detroits Jim Caldwell. The offensive play calling was just that, offensive! By comparison NE would have had Brady sneak it in from the 1 foot line for a td, instead of Haleys calls that ended up going from 1st and goal from the one foot line to 4th and 6 just incredible given that this was the championship game.

And lets not leave out the Pitt defense. Looks like not one of them know how to tackle, certainly not 1 on1 and even 6 or 7 guys can't bring a guy down. And how many times in the NFL do you see a wide open receiver with no one within 6 or 7 yards in the end zone ?? Just pathetic. Chris Hogan no less, Hogan who??

I feel sorry for the Pitt fans in the future, Roethlisberger on the decline, Tomlin still in charge, and Haley back callin plays, looks like mediocrity to me. Wonder if they will make the playoffs next year ??

Tomlin. He looked like a deer in the headlights the whole game.

I had a similar play to hedge my Atl-NE money line parlay. As I look back they were lucky to escape KC last week, should have just left it alone. I think I finally learned NOT to go against one of the greatest coaches, and quarterback of all time. They have been money all year.

Roethlisberger is out of shape and soft! Early in his career he made plays by scrambling and keeping plays alive until a receiver broke open down field. He's slow, he can't scramble and IMO the Steelers need to part ways with him ASAP! I always said when he lost his ability to scramble and keep a play alive is when you would see his weaknesses. And the big weakness is he is not a very good pocket passer!

Tomlin is supposed to be a puppet, that's what the Steelers hired. He strayed from the the "agreement" and the Steelers have themselves in a pickle because they can't fire a black head coach. But they lost control of their puppet because he thinks he knows more than the Steeler way! Lol

Tomlin is a good coach but he, as most coaches, definitely got outplayed by Belicheck. He relies on Haley too much on the offensive side and should make "executive decisions" when called for, such as the QB sneak. Pitt has a good offense with some terrific playmakers but Haley is doing this team no favors.

Pitt does not have a good defense and we've seen that most of the year. NE exposed them as did other good offensive teams.

Tomlin has been to 2 super bowls and won 1 which is more than you can say for many active coaches.

Considering Pitt's success under Tomlin with many playoff appearances, why get rid of the guy and replace with an unknown. The guys on the team like him as does ownership...and ownership known for keeping their coaches around through thick and thin.

With Bell and Williams, Pitt would be better off trying to run the ball even more than it does to take the pressure off Ben. But Haley loves to pass and with Antonio Brown, how can you not get the ball to him as much as possible?

Pitt was still the 3rd best team in the AFC (2nd best with a Carr-less Oakland Raiders) which isnt bad. They must shore up their defense and keep Ben healthy to be able to compete with the Patriots.

Tomlin was completely outclassed, outcoached, there are so many tactical and play calling examples during the game, too long to list here.

To boot, NE was 100% prepared and worked with confidence and precision, whereas the Steelers were tentative, uncertain, hesitant the whole game.

(OK my favorite is when it was first and goal on the ONE, without Bell, I was screaming at the TV that you CANNOT run straight up the gut on the goal line against the Patriots, they are built for that... and sure, that is what Tomlin did, loss, loss...
The week before, with Bell, against KC who was missing 4 of their original front seven and vulnerable to the run, Tomlin had Ben lob a weak flare to the end zone against KC's strength, their defensive backfield... INT!)
