Here is my view on the offsides call on UNC when they recovered the ball on the onsides kick. There wasn't an offsides. UNC recovered the ball and should have had another chance with under a minute to go. Why the ref threw the flag, I have no idea, it is pure speculation. That officially means that a ref can throw a random flag in a game changing moment and it's non reviewable. I'd like to know why can't they review the play, decide that there was no one offsides and pick up the flag.

It will be interesting in the next few days to hear the official explanation.

This shows it wasn't and UNC did it with 10 players! I think a judgement call can't be reviewed? Might have just read that in attached. Clear as the day!

I agree it was a bad call at the worse possible time. And I also think that flag was thrown "just in case" unc recovered it. With that said, as inconsistent as the unc qb was there was no guarantees that they would've scored and got the two point conversion.
