This is a very agressive young team, that has NOT FOLDED under the playoff pressure....

I think everyone has kept waiting for them to fold, and go away in the AL WEST, leaving the Angels and A's to battle it out for the division crown, but as of today, Texas has won 4 in a row, and climbed back to just 3 games out, with 11 to go......And they still have games against Oakland left.....

Very impressive for a team with not much pitching, and possible Soriano as there best known player, and he is out with an injury.....

Pretty amazing stuff that this team has made it this far.......

They are probably the sentimental choice to win, but they still have a climb....But no reason to believe they won't continue to wreak havoc in the AL WEST, and barring them winning it themselves, will have a say in who does.....

They have a ton of momentum right now and Oakland is reeling!

Rangers have a decent schedule as they have 8 home games left with 1 with A,s and 4 with the Angels and 3 with Seattle. Their only road games is the closing series of 3 with Mariners.They actually have a chance if they can handle Mariners better than the Angels are doing.

They are 17 games over .500 right now....

I could see it if the Rangers went 10-10, and Oakland went 4-16, and the Rangers gain ground, but thats not whats happening....The rangers are gaining by winning......
