Was watching the Nowitzki highlight. Every young person in the stands had their phones out.

Two old dudes stood and watched in awe.

I'm 32... no phone, the last thing I'm trying to do is fidget with a phone while something like that's going down.. I'll always have the memory in my head. How many times are you really going to watch it anyway? You won't even give a fuck about it a day or 2 later lol

36. I record nothing. Live in the moment. Those people will have a memory of a screen capturing a moment, not the moment. And honestly, 95% will never watch it again.

I saw the Fab 5 in the Elite 8. I told my buddy I forgot my camera. He told me "it will never leave your memory."

He was right and made a good point.

I go to a lot of sporting events. Things like game 7 of the eastern conf finals with the Sixers can NEVER be re-lived via video. Wouldnt even try. These poor kids (and adults) dont know what they are missing.
