Would you Marry a Woman strictly for Money?

I am curious how many of you guys would marry a woman for the money?

I'm not talking about a beast either...

I have this girlfriend who lives in Kentucky currently, she's freakin loaded , about to retire and is contemplating moving to Maryland , she has a daughter, she's a widow and she's very attractive...



Here's the thing, I have no idea what I would do with myself if I didn't have sports to watch and gamble on...All my nickle dime bets would become meaningless , I would end up bored out of my mind I'm positive of this...


Of course her millions would still be all her's, as I would obviously be forced to sign some sort of agreement, just not sure I could handle being Mrs Journeyman :manwh: ....


Not saying I'm only attracted to her for her money either, but it sure is impressive....I will be heading down to Kentucky sometime after the first of the year to see if I can close the deal:muscles:

In my case, I prefer being the bread winner, so I looked for other characteristics, such as beauty, integrity, family values, intelligence, good heartedness, common sense, and found them all in my wife...

Does she know you gamble?? Damn straight buddy go for that money. While you are at it go for her daughter too. Have your cake and eat it too. Increase your nickle dime bets to 10 dimes or better. JJ, the thing is, I may end up loving her...

But how does a guy who makes 70-80 K a year, then all the sudden he has no money worries at all? I can't even watch sports now without having money on the games...My whole 35-36 years has been about sports.... How would I ever get a high again betting a nickle, a dime , even 2 dimes on a game knowing it didn't matter if I won or lost it didn't matter?

All past relativity would be out the window.... I have a banner year financially in '04 and then I go and meet this woman who has 40 times as much money...

Oh God know, I doubt I would ever bet again...I am very conservative, i would never risk anyone else's fortune, I have often said this, If I had a million dollars I wouldn't gamble anymore, and I would probably be miserable....

I think she probably realizes I gamble, the night I met her I told her I was mad because I just lost 600 dollars on a last second shot...


Here's the other key issue.....NOW YOU GUYS CAN BELIEVE THIS OR NOT, I would NOT joke about something like this...

As I mentioned she is a widow (which is bad enough in my mind) HER HUSBAND WAS KILLED IN THE WTC COLLAPSE... Can you imagine , I will spend the rest of my life living in this man's shadow? I cannot imagine it ....

I debated mentioning that part but I may as well tell the whole story, as this is a reality story...

I have a problem with the widow thing and on top of it the tragedy...I am gonna roll the dice though, and atleast see what happens.

Thanks Illini- Good points, marriage would be way down the road I am guessing, maybe a year or more, I have already done all I have set out to do...Simple easy life, maybe I need a change...God knows i'm not getting any younger ...

I am dead serious this is a true story, I know my detractors will scoff :hump:

the thing is, I may end up loving her... just don´t count on it, you never know what will happen and you can´t plan your life based on hypotethicals, you either love her or not, go from there. perhaps you just need sometime to see if you do or not, but don´t be fooled by ¨I may love her in a year or two¨
