Yes. Would prefer to live outside of the greater PHX area.

But my wife and I are married to our jobs right now. And our kids are in a great school.

So we wait...

West coast for the weather

Midwest weather is pretty terrible. Freezing winter and blazing hot summer, hardly any fall

I'm thinking Pocatello, Idaho is the place to be. 4 seasons. No humidity. Winters arent too brutal. Not a metropolis, but large enough town to have everything you need.

Gonna look into it.

That didn't last long. Its 75% Mormon.

Not that there is anything wrong with that. But I would be an outsider.

Maybe I'll look towards Boise...

One thing to add to this

Cost of living in Midwest is great. I would have to be a multi millionaire in California to afford the house I have in the midwest. But the weather, lack of diversity, and general boredom is the tradeoff

Ive been to Iowa a few times. Thats where my Mom's side is from. I enjoy visiting. Nice people.

But I hear the winter is brutal.

New York now.....I see a change down the road.

The wife is from Northern California....I prefer Florida over California.

We`ll see what happens down the road.

Care to elaborate?

Guess it was just weird. Me coming from the East Coast and they just do and say stuff I didn't get at times.
This was back in the early 80's, so it probably changed.
My cousin has lived out in Sherman oaks for like 30 years, he loves it out there.

Might have to give it another try.... now if I can Just get pass Las Vegas :)

No disrespect, but I would never understand why someone would prefer FLA or CAL.

Cost of living is less in FLA. Thats the only advantage. And I guess there is a reason for that...

The day I move to Vegas, is the day I give up and say its over.

Pass over it no matter what direction you move. Vegas is a place to visit. Not a place to live.
