Fifty eight year old Charlie Weis is available again after being fired by Kansas. Canned by the Jayhawks after winning just six games he's back on the market for employment...not that he needs to work. Weis was paid $5 million for his buyout by Kansas. On top of that, by the end of 2015 when his Notre Dame contract ends, he will have earned nearly $19 million from the school.

I don't think Weis will ever be a Division I college head coach again...but some NFL team might give him a look as a coordinator.
Would you hire big Charlie..........................?

Weis acts like it's his choice to coach again. No it's not, nobody would hire him. The dude is getting paid big bucks to stay at home and stuff himself with KFC. Now that he has more money than Jerry's Kids he needs to stay home and work on his charitable foundation, which is the only good thing that this guy has started..

He won't ever coach football at the D1 or higher level again.

He's banking his money and "leading" the charity he started.

I can't believe Kansas was stupid enough to hire him. Honestly, I can't believe Notre Dame hired him.

His agent deserves to be shot or praised for being the best scam/con artist of modern times!

I read somewhere that Weis will be a top 10 paid coach this year, by sitting on his ass. I think he should change his name to Charlie Wise for being able to win those kinds of contracts. Notre Dame and Kansas were dumb and dumberer...

I saw that also. He'll make almost $5 million this year to NOT coach. What a joke.

Then there's Will Muschamp. He'll be a top 20 paid coach this year to be the DC at Auburn, thanks to getting over on Jeremy Foley.

CB, it was embarrassing watching Weis on the sidelines during Florida games.

He had to sit half the game...Kansas deserved what they got out of the big boy.

I can't see another college team touching him.

He will be back as a coordinator somewhere eventually.

I disagree. Especially at the college level. I doubt an NFL head coach will want to deal with it. He's almost 60 years old. His coaching days are behind him....

That's not what he tells me. I talk to him at least monthly.

He came close to taking a job with an NFL team very recently...and had more than a few offers.

It would be interesting to know what his health issues are and how he is handling all that excessive weight. These 400 lbs (plus) "heavy-weight" coaches have to be vigilant if they want to stay in coaching. Mangino is another one.....he toped the 500 lbs mark before he went on a diet after Youngstown State. I think he got down to the low 400's....I hope there isn't a "Golden Coral" nearby.

I bet he fucked her brains out.
..

Did she have brains????

But both Monica and Charlie Cheeseburg (who unsuccessfully sued the surgeon of his gastric bypass surgery) can pack it away; maybe Charlie should get involved with new Fast Food Franchise; Shakes and something..
