this is a great deal i found on craigslist, but i hesitate buying something used for various reasons.

This is for a very rarely used 80 GB PS3. It comes with original packaging, and an HDMI cable included. Included in the box is a wireless controller and USB charging cable.

The games are all in great condition with their original box and manual. The included games are:
Fallout 3
NCAA Football 2009
Metal Gear Solid 4
The Orange Box (HalfLife 2 w/ Episodes 1 and 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal)

$425 OBO. No trade offers please.

talking around 700 for the system with all those games and the hdmi cable at a retail outlet.

It's "very rarely used" but he has MGS4 and Fallout 3 (released months apart and are very addictive games)?!

Makes no sense. Me, I would not go for that.

I bought my XBOX360 used and it was a mistake I should have spent the extra 50 and got it new off the shelf.

Let's get down to brass tacks. How much for the ap

I bought a "refurbished" one from gamestop as I buy all of my systems. I have never, ever had a problem with a refurbished system. All that means is some human (not machine) took extra special care of my PS3 and made sure everything was working correctly. Also comes with a 30 day guarantee and the option for a one year warranty. I got the 40 gig system and only paid $349 for it. I say that is the best route to go. Unless you plan on downloading your games to your system and/or downloading a bunch of movies there is no point in getting the 80 gig system over the 40. As for the games===NCAA season is all over after tonight, so that game won't be any fun as you won't be in football mode. The HALF LIFE one is just a shitty demo. MGS is worth it as is Fallout 3. After breaking this down like I break down basketball games I say you just go buy a refurbished one and have a little more peace of mind.

349--40 gig at gamestop--comes w one wireless controller and charger.

so after tax, you got about an extra 60 bucks to play with. You can get 3 decent used games at that price. Sorry for the long response , but what I am basically trying to say is don't buy a used game system off some random guy whom you don't know

Buy one though as I fucking love mine. Have 10 games and has helped me quit my pill problem. Spent 50 bucks a pill so everytime I get the urge to do an oxy I go out and buy a game...hahaha
