there is a difference between putting a team on the floor who plays together 80 games a year, versus putting a group of superstars on the floor who never play together. we are seeing how ineffective the superstars group is as compared to a TEAM.

detroit would CRUSH these other teams.

Yes J'man, they would win the gold. Those teams have never seen the defensive pressure they would see out of Detroit.

If the Pistons just took a few days off after winning the NBA title then proceeded to stay completely together and practice and play exibitions until the Olympics they would beat all comers in Athens. A TEAM playing together for an entire year and winning the NBA title is a far cry from the pick-up team of semi-all stars presently in Greece.

These imbeciles should have put together a "team"

How does Marbury go? How does Iverson go?

A team has a big man, a shooter, a power forward, a point guard and a scoring forward . A team has backups to these players and it has guys that play defense .

Go to espn.com page 2 and read a great article by Bill Simmons about ho wthey should've built this team.

I root for them to lose, and if I wasn't on 3 day NBC delay out here in Nevada Id watch the games.
