I think so, Rose is exactly what they need to be a complete "competitor team". Hopefully he comes back healthy and doesn't end up like Brandon Roy

Seeing Deng on the Cavs makes me think either the cavs are a REALLY poorly run organization......or Chicago was smart for dumping him

Boozer gets near a max contact I think, By pay he's not underrated. I go the oppostie way. He's overrated, if he's not in a pick in roll, he's useless as an offensive threat...

The best term i heard for Carmelo is "empty calories". That is his game, same with Boozer. Boozer will be gone after the season. Carmelo's wife won't let him leave after this year anyway and turn down all of that money that the Knicks can offer vs other teams.

Boozer is horrible. Looks good but is really soft.

Couldn't agree more with Boozer.

Melo is offensively talented and wouldn't mind building a team around him if that was my only choice... Can't see him in Chicago as he doesn't play D...

What really hurts the Bulls is they invested heavily in Rose and he is probably the modern-day Penny Hardaway. In a superstar-driven league, who do they have? The one thing really overlooked about the Bulls is their ability to pick up talent off the scrapheap and turn them into good role players. I have little doubt that Jimmer pans out for them also. Hard to go against the Heat with 8-9 try-hard players and no real go-to players.

Imo, Bulls would be worse off with Melo. He just doesn't strike me as a "smart" player. Extremely talented, but "empty calories" seems like the perfect description to me.

Really? He is the last guy id want on my team. He can shoot, but he doesnt play defense and doesnt make those around him better. He has shown that he is an all about me type player, he wants his, could care less if he ever wins anything. He will never let a team bring in a player that shares the spotlight with him.
