Would I be crazy to try this in Fantasy Football ???

I know this should be in FF Forum - but nobody goes there.

8 man league
Points:
QB - 3 for TD, 1 for 40 yds
RB/WR - 6 for TD, 1 for 20 yds

So everyone goes with the RB's first in most drafts.

I have pick 4 - first 3 guys have basically said they are going LT, AP, Westbrook.

So I am sitting thinking about Steven Jackson, Addai, Brady, etc...

SO:

Would I be nuts to try and take Brady at 4 and then on the way back try and get Romo or Manning?

We start 2 QB's, 3 RB, 3 WR

I just think it'd be nuts to have 2 sick QB's

Try and talk me out of if this is really dumb.... just trying to think of something besides boring old "Load up on RB" strategy

Just to let you and anyone else who reads this know... we have a fantasy football forum here at theRX that has a decent amount of returning members.

Rankings will be posted throughout the day for anyone who wants to check em out and me/others will always answer your questions.

As for your question, I'd skip over Jackson at this point. He's holding out and the Rams keep low-balling him compared to what he wants. The two sides aren't close.

With only 3 per TD, taking QBs with your first two picks just isn't a smart move since you will have no RBs and those guys are the most reliable in fantasy football.

If Addai is there, you have to take him at 4 and try for a QB on the way back around. In an 8-team league, it won't be nearly as hard to get 2 decent QBs. Personally, I'd go RB on the way around and then QB in the 3rd.

He'll be the 2nd or 3rd best RB in fantasy football. Don't worry about him losing goal line carries.

running back thinnest position..only a handful of studs...some split carries..etc

you go QB 1st two..your rb's will get smashed every week

QB is much deeper especially in 8 man league
