I though Clemens has sounded pretty bad but this one takes the cake and comes after months of silence.

Zaun claims he wrote Grimsley (teammate and friend) a check for $500 for a loan or a bet they made, he doesnt remember. For some odd reason he left the part where you write the persons name on the line blank, that is the part that says pay to the order of.
He than says Grimsley wrote the name of the guy who he bought the steroids from (Radomski) on that line and bought steroids with it. Way to sell out your friend for your problem. If I was Grimsley I would be pissed. What a clown.
Not sure why a guy like Zaun doesnt just fess up, nobody cares if he did or he didnt but lying about it makes you look twice as dumb and espically when you make up an even more ridicolus lie. Now everyone around baseball that reads this are laughing at a guy no one cared about to begin with.
