Congrats to New England backers but that was the worst call I've ever seen in any sport in the 40 years I've been watching sports.
There is NO reason to throw that ball there when you have the best running back in the NFL and you are on the 1/2 yard line. NO reason and no possible explanation can be given for making that call

What I thought was weird is that Belichick did not call timeout before that play to conserve time. I wonder if he had called timeout then maybe Seattle would have more time to consider and would have thought better to run the ball instead?
