Yes Scores and Odds had 12.5.
Don Best has every book closing at 12. Pinnacle, Stations, Westgate, Mirage, etc..
The closing line for the vast majority of books was 12.
I don't know what it is, well, yeah I do. I NEVER play a total with the half. I'm going over, buy it down, I'm going under, buy it up. If that wasn't an option, that sux, find ya another out. These folks here that play my parlay each day know damn good and well how buying that hook has made us some coin. Just something to consider down the road.

I agree with multiple outs being the way to go. I used to do that back in the day. The problem is that its hard to find some good offshore books that ACTUALLY pay out. Plus its getting harder and harder to send and receive $$ in the states. I also hated paying a "fee" to collect my winnings and REALLY hated going to wal mart to collect my winnings (fun and scary for people watching).
I had the play under 11.5 and paid a nickle juice. I made the play around 1030 am at the time. I wonder if any books were offering 12 at the time and what was the juice. Maybe minus 20?
Even if a book was offering 12 at -120 i still may have played 11.5 minus a nickle. Really not sure.
Also making plays from your smart phone at a red lite isnt the wisest choice either but u gotta get em in when u can get em in
