Wowsers. 70-20. Nuff said. It was most definitely a thrilling wk for me, however it was dampened by my 2 not so Honorable losses w/ATL & TB, & LAR pushing against the Bungles. The big hit came when DAL went 1-5 in the redzone @ ARI, getting throttled by the abysmal Cards, torpedoing my Teaser. Anyone else lose their survivor leagues w/good ol’ DAL? But hey, Dolphins are 3-0!!

Regular Season POW 1-2, Teasers 1-2, GOY 0-0, Overall 6-9-1 (8-9-1 Undocumented)

MIA +2 ½
played BUF 3x last yr, going 1-2 SU (3-0 ATS). All 3 gms were highly entertaining, w/BUF OC Ken Dorsey going ballistic over Josh Allen’s mismanagement of the game clock to end the gm in 1st tilt, then a last minute FG beat MIA in Wk 15, despite 405 yds from MIA “O”, & finally the PO loss @ BUF, where MIA’s “D” forced 3 TOs to keep it close 31-34, as 14 pt dogs. To say this is a heated rivalry is an understatement. Thankfully, the NFL schedulers made this gm @ BUF early in season to avoid the blistering winds of Dec, like last season. Sure, it’s easy for bettors to tail MIA off a 70-burger last wk, but this matchup is more than that. MIA’s “O” & “D” are starting to become very comfortable against BUF’s Josh Allen & their “D”. BUF has held Tua in check, however in that Wk 15 gm last yr, Mostert ran for 136 yds & the team had 188 total (Mostert didn’t play in PO gm). So BUF will be unable to simply focus on Tua & the Cheetah here. Esp w/the arrival of Devon Achane. I felt like he could look like he did last wk vs DEN, sometime around mid-season. Now MIA boasts a 2-headed monster w/the run gm, for McDaniel to take attention away from what’s the best air gm in the league. And while BUF’s “D” destroyed Sam Howell last wk, they still gave up 7 ypc on the ground. The MIA “O” that BUF faced all 3x last yr is almost nothing like what they’ll see this Sun. In yrs past where I sensed MIA feared this matchup, are now champing @ the bit to go out & beat their rival. Oh, & they get Waddle back. Bet you didn’t even notice he was missing last gm. Josh Allen could possibly be a hero here as he is a very talented athlete, but even in BUF’s demolition of WAS last wk, Allen had a 79.9 QBR, w/1 INT & 2 TDs. MIA’s days of being a dog are going to disappear, so I’m hoping for 1 more win before the lines start becoming ridiculous. Consumer Warning: Possible homer pick.

MIA 31
BUF 24

Honorable Mentions:

1 Unit ATL +3 ½ (bought ½):
Ho boy, going out on a limb here. Ridder & the ATL “O” looked awful last wk, but DET’s “D”, despite the injuries to their secondary, are very good on the line. So they shut down ATL’s run gm, which inevitably shuts down ATL. JAX managed to contain Dameon Pierce, but gave up chunks to Singletary. So I’m hoping Bijan & Allgeier rebound here, to keep pressure off Ridder. Big one also is Lawrence’s regression since Wk 1. He went from 103.8 rating, to 68.8 & 85.3 in the last 2. And ATL’s “D” is currently #9, & #8 in opposing QBR.

1 Unit PIT -2 ½: HOU is off huge win against div rival JAX, & are still nursing a lot of injuries. PIT’s veteran “D” will not allow the pts that JAX did. Pickett is starting to gain steam & has dropped some dimes in the last 6 quarters.

1 Unit LAR Pk: Going w/Lams 1 more time. IND’s “D” is no joke, but neither is LA’s. Aaron Donald & co will be smart enough to keep Richardson @ the line of scrimmage, allowing Stafford to do enough to pull out a close gm. I hope.

2 Unit Wormy Teaser

MIN +8 ½
SF -1
KC +4 ½
PIT +10 ½

Wormy, Love the Miami pick on Sunday and it will be in my plays but 2 thins I will chime in and that is Buffalo defense is slow and average at best dont put alot in that Washington game as they are not even close to a good offense. Also to beat the Dolphins right now you need to play keep away for as much as possible and the 1 thing the Bills dont have is a good run game. Just my thoughts and Good luck on Sunday !

Gravy, you don't know how good that sounds to me. Backing my team always makes me nervous as I might be looking at things thru rose colored glasses. But as you say, BUF "D" is not as dominant as previous, younger editions, esp w/out Von Miller. I really get the sense that MIA has shifted their mindset against BUF. Proof is PO gm w/Skylar Thompson where the team really stepped up behind him, esp the "D". They really thought they could win despite not having Tua. Waddle had a bad gm in that 1 too, so I'm expecting him to make up for that here.

Great insight Train, I'll be seeing you @ da window.

And we have a run game now. I don’t even recognize the oline. We’re playing aggressive, getting push off the line into the second level and making the defense play our game. Our offense is miles ahead of the league…let’s hope that continues!! Our defense has the weapons and just needs time to understand the skeme. Coaching is top notch! We’ve got big plans Worm, big plans!!
