Wowsers. 70-20. Nuff said. It was most definitely a thrilling wk for me, however it was dampened by my 2 not so Honorable losses w/ATL & TB, & LAR pushing against the Bungles. The big hit came when DAL went 1-5 in the redzone @ ARI, getting throttled by the abysmal Cards, torpedoing my Teaser. Anyone else lose their survivor leagues w/good ol’ DAL? But hey, Dolphins are 3-0!!
Regular Season POW 1-2, Teasers 1-2, GOY 0-0, Overall 6-9-1 (8-9-1 Undocumented)
MIA +2 ½ played BUF 3x last yr, going 1-2 SU (3-0 ATS). All 3 gms were highly entertaining, w/BUF OC Ken Dorsey going ballistic over Josh Allen’s mismanagement of the game clock to end the gm in 1st tilt, then a last minute FG beat MIA in Wk 15, despite 405 yds from MIA “O”, & finally the PO loss @ BUF, where MIA’s “D” forced 3 TOs to keep it close 31-34, as 14 pt dogs. To say this is a heated rivalry is an understatement. Thankfully, the NFL schedulers made this gm @ BUF early in season to avoid the blistering winds of Dec, like last season. Sure, it’s easy for bettors to tail MIA off a 70-burger last wk, but this matchup is more than that. MIA’s “O” & “D” are starting to become very comfortable against BUF’s Josh Allen & their “D”. BUF has held Tua in check, however in that Wk 15 gm last yr, Mostert ran for 136 yds & the team had 188 total (Mostert didn’t play in PO gm). So BUF will be unable to simply focus on Tua & the Cheetah here. Esp w/the arrival of Devon Achane. I felt like he could look like he did last wk vs DEN, sometime around mid-season. Now MIA boasts a 2-headed monster w/the run gm, for McDaniel to take attention away from what’s the best air gm in the league. And while BUF’s “D” destroyed Sam Howell last wk, they still gave up 7 ypc on the ground. The MIA “O” that BUF faced all 3x last yr is almost nothing like what they’ll see this Sun. In yrs past where I sensed MIA feared this matchup, are now champing @ the bit to go out & beat their rival. Oh, & they get Waddle back. Bet you didn’t even notice he was missing last gm. Josh Allen could possibly be a hero here as he is a very talented athlete, but even in BUF’s demolition of WAS last wk, Allen had a 79.9 QBR, w/1 INT & 2 TDs. MIA’s days of being a dog are going to disappear, so I’m hoping for 1 more win before the lines start becoming ridiculous. Consumer Warning: Possible homer pick.
