It’s better to be lucky than good, is the famous saying. HOU w/Stroud are making amazing comebacks or taking teams to the woodshed, but the last 2x I back them (vs CAR & JAX) they look absolutely terrible as a team. Belicheat showed that he wants a top draft pick next yr by starting Jones once again, & then benching him once again. Teaser & LAR hit to help stem losses, along w/my Turkey pix, but just so disappointed in my POW. The officials definitely influenced the Thurs gm where DAL barely contained the great Geno Smith to eke out the win @ hm. Just not getting any luck there. Hoping to start a winning streak this wk.

Regular Season POW 4-8, Teasers 6-9, GOY 0-0, Overall 24-34-2 (26-34-2 Undocumented)

MIA -9
are still atop the AFC East by 2 ½ gms over BUF, who are on bye. Take care of business @ WAS & they round that up to an even 3 gms up, w/5 more gms to go. Much has been made about MIA bullying the bad teams, & it should be no different here. MIA is beginning to rely on their “D” in recent wks as Tua has struggled against some fairly good pass “D”s. Enter WAS, who are dead last in passing TDs given up, & 2nd to last in pypa (7.5 ypa!). This is definitely a get-rt gm for Tua & the gang. DC Del Rio was fired & Rivera takes over “D” playcalling. I don’t think it matters. They weren’t very good before trading away their star DEs Young & Sweat. WAS is also tied for 8th worst in rypc @ a healthy 4.4 ypc given up to runners. This is important, because MIA’s run gm allows Tua more time to throw downfield. Rookie sensation Achane is back (again) for this tilt, so hopefully he lasts longer than 2 qtrs, unlike his last gm vs LAV. Sam Howell is actually a very good QB, but he’s on pace to shatter the NFL sack record. He seems to play the same despite the pressure, but that consistently puts WAS’s “O” in down & distance. He also throws a lot of INTs, & that can’t get better against a suddenly great MIA secondary. The loss of DE Jaelan Phillips was crushing, but Van Ginkel & a resurgent Ogbah, out to prove himself, cuts the edge off that huge loss. W/how WAS’s oline is blocking, I’m predicting a long day for Howell. WAS’s run gm would have to come to the rescue, but MIA is fairly stout there as well, improving their once bad run “D” to now 5th best in the league in rypc @ 3.8 ypc. Vic Fangio’s influence on this talented “D” is finally paying dividends, w/a lot of starters now healthy. Speaking of health, MIA’s oline will be a little stronger here too, w/Armstead & a handful of injured olinemen likely coming back.

Honorable Mentions:

1 Unit TEN ML (-105):
TEN plays differently on both sides of the ball @ hm & should take care of IND to stay afloat in PO hunt. IND’s run “D” hasn’t been the same since DT Stewart’s PED suspension, which will help Henry here. Levis has been very sub-par since his breakout debut, but w/Henry taking some pressure off, & the return of WR Burks, I’m hoping for a solid gm for him to continue TEN’s winning ways @ hm.

1 Unit NE +5 ½: Sigh, backing the awful Patsies once more. The word is Zappe will finally take over the starting role, since he’s been seen working w/starters all wk (Belicheat still hasn’t said who’s starting). I know, Zappe hasn’t been much better in relief work this season, but being able to start the gm & establish a flow is critical for a young QB. LT Trent Brown likely returns here to help shore up the line against a suddenly fearsome LAC pass rush. Joey Bosa is still out, but Khalil Mack has led the charge (pun intended) in QB pressures since his injury. Rain is in the forecast, so I see NE running the hell out of Stevenson & Zeke, & focus on stopping Ekeler, forcing Herbert to throw. Against Belicheat, Herbert is 0-2 SU & ATS (both as a fav), w/a statline of 2 TDs to 4 INTs, & 13 QBR.

1 Unit LAC/NE Under 39 ½: Rain, Belicheat vs Herbert, running, see above.

2 Unit Wormy Teaser

Love it. gl bro
Let's get this!! Did you go DAL Thurs? Would've been squeezing, but DAL was the better team. Geno was just playing his career gm & officials definitely played a role in that being close.

I sure hope so Indy! I hate playing my team, but everything is there for a MIA romp. Tua & "O" just have to keep TOs to a minimum.
Throw all chips in the middle…Fins roll!!!!
Hell's Yeah!! If oline can just stay healthy & get time together in gms, we'll be ready for POs. But we've had 100 different oline lineups this season! PHI, KC, SF, BAL don't have to worry too much about oline shuffling recently, so we need the same stability. Here we GO!

Mr Burns: "Excellent."

I'm expecting big day for MIA "O". Weather is looking good there too, because I was worried about it being cold & wet, which is never good for Tua.

Oh, nice! Jax as you know, it's tuff to back NE in any capacity rt now, but history is showing us a possibility of an upset & rain will help. Keenan Allen also not 100%. Let's get this!

Adding:

1 Unit ATL -2:
Rain is happening for this gm, so going w/stronger run team w/Ridder leading Bijan, Allgeier & Patterson. NYJ run “D” actually their weakness. And Boyle can’t even pass rt in good weather. Also tailing JaxFactor on Ridder Over 15 ½ yds rushing.
