Thanksgiving did not start off very well w/Goff once again failing his team, this time costing them the gm. But, DAL then took care of the hapless Commanders & SF relied on “D” & run gm to easily control SEA in the night gm to give me a winning day. I got cute w/WAS in my Teaser because I did think there was a slight chance @ an upset of DAL there. Big mistake. MIA handled the awful Jets on Fri, despite Tua’s 2 INTs.

HOU +1 ½ is on a 3-gm win streak & 1 gm back of JAX in the South. HOU’s rebuild has been accelerated this yr, off the backs of rookie QB Stroud & a suddenly stout “D”. HOU’s “D” thrives on 3rd & 4th downs, where JAX is not the strongest on “O”. HOU already won @ JAX back in Wk 3, where a balanced “O” attack & a kick return TD led to a 20-pt win. It is tuff to sweep a div rival, however in this series, HOU is 9-1 SU, 7-3 ATS, & 5-1 SU/ATS as a dog. As part of that dominance, HOU has swept the season series 4 of the last 5 seasons. Last yr JAX managed to win @ HOU 31-3 off an Etienne 62-yd TD run & Davis Mills fumble for a 12-yd TD, putting HOU in an early 21-0 hole. If HOU wins here, they’ll actually have the same record as JAX but will then own the H2H tiebreaker. I don’t think HOU will have to rely on late gm heroics from Stroud here, however it’s always nice to have that possibility if they are down in 2nd half.
