WorldRunner - Season Long NBA Thread - System & Computer picks

I haven't posted publically system or computer plays in sometime... (maybe 2 seasons ago in baseball) so I will try it again.

These picks are 100% done by artificial intelligence created by myself and a group of programmers I work with.

The AI does (Among other things) simulates the result of the game 3000 times based on individual power rankings of every single player in the NBA and statistical data of each team and player. The computer then analyzes the outcome of the simulation against trends and historical/statistical data.

With all of that the computer recommends either a 1*, 2*, 3* or NO PLAY on each side/total on the entire board. Basketball is one sport where these simulations and computer plays work fairly well...but I won't get into the reasoning behind that because it may just bore you to death...

The software pulls lines from Pinnacle and Olympic and will play the better #.

I will update this thread each and every day that I can.

thanks I took skybook - 4 -115 but reduced to - 3 1/2 -115 (free 1/2 point) going to give them my NBA business this year for offering that.

By tomorrow I should have skybook included. Had a guy working that into the program today. I think the computer will be even more succesful with that free 1/2 point. And I think the public will do very poorly in basketball this season so Skybook should stay pretty secure.

Computer likes Atlanta again... It likes it more than 1* but I'm bumping it down...Which I will do from time to time.

I made a mistake...it was over 179 for the bulls/pacers but it still went over.

3-0 with the pistons pushing. +6 Units on the day.

Computer was on it's game today. Celtics win outright by 30+ Bulls/Pacers went over 190, Pistons covered much of the game and Pacers hung on to win by 10. Good night.

Terrible bad beat on that game. TWO overtimes required to even cover the over. the 29 points double overtime points pushed the game over. Had the game ended in regulation we were well under.

Definately the right pick though... But it didn't work out.

Thanks for the feedback. I actually wagered that one too so I was doubly dissapointed in the 2ot.
