Just so we are on the same page, United 93 is this movie

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/united_93/

Not the thing that was made for TV cable...

And it's 90% fresh rate says alot, saw one movie maybe with a higher %, that was Million Dollar Baby.

I dunno, it wasn't so much that I didn't like United 93 as much as it was less than I expected, it's not like they could change the story or make it better...just didn't think it was all that good....I almost feel guilty wanting to enjoy this movie.

I will say this about United 93 it did move me to pretty strong emotions a couple times...

How anybody could give these crooks a dollar is beyond me. People flock in droves to make millionaires out of people who profit from tragedy. Our society is sick. There's really no way around it

I may have spoken out of place saying "enjoy the movie'' that came out wrong....I guess on second thought after reading the responses- I won't see it.

PKJ, did you feel the same way about Titanic, one of my favorite movies...

I'm just curious if that is also considered taking advantage of tragedy in your opinion?

This is really more of a story of the people involved rather than the WTC episode rather itself.

The acting was awful, imo. One of the WORST films I've seen in a long time, so was happy that it was at least free on cable.

Oliver Stone will do a better job directing, without question. Too bad Nick Cage is in it, tho. He's not a very good actor, either.

Leaving Las Vegas??? But yeah pretty much everything else he's been in has sucked to some degree.

just saw WTC..it was nothing like I expected and was actually very good...it was not just a writers version of what he thought happened, it was the actual events of two families.... I am glad I saw it....I think it's worth watching,,,this was much better than United 93
