Shit, I just missed all the excitement as I stayed at the Horseshoe this last weekend. Too high a stakes for me anyway on the big weekend.

Good luck Patrick, hope you kill them.

I sat in on a 5 10 (live 25 on the button) PLO game that was pretty good Thurdsay night. Who would of thought on the weekend it would actually tighten up.

I doubt they have rooms left for the tournament weekend, but I learned that the Horseshoe doesn't track play for the poker room rate, so if you call the poker room and get them to get you the rate, you don't even have to give them action to get that rate. I ended up giving them a lot of play anyway, but is nice to not have to play a certain number of hours (or at all) and get the rate.

What is the buy-in for the tournament in Tunica? The main problem with this tourney is that TUNICA is a shithole of a city or shoudl I say town!

Buyin varies depending on the tournament (are around 15 if I remember correctly). The lowest is $500 and from there it goes to $10000 for there big NL tournament.

The Grand will also be holding similar tournaments in the evening but with smaller buyins but in general the same game as the Horseshoe offered that day.

Should be a huge couple weeks for poker. Might attend next year, but am thinking I can save a lot of money by not going.
