finland -.5 -190 over Sweden 190 to win 100

at the greek.com

I am going to crush them in this tournament.

could you let us know what his comeback price is?
oh, and their limits? since we already know olympic doesnt have a clue on how to book hockey, im betting they have at best 40 cents lines and $2 limits on the world tourney.

in other words - you might win a small amount on the tournament - but they wont be worried about being "crushed", especially with guys willing to lay -90...

thanks.

I don't know what the limit is and the spread is 30-40 cents.

But we are 1-0 and we will win some more but they will probably survive our onslaught.

well keep winning! dont be afraid to post your opinions. i will be watching some of the games but not handicapping them, unless i see nice dog w/somve value (which not likely at that book) and that wont happen unless marquee team like canada looks like a go-against in finals...

Slovakia -125 over Switzerland 2 units
The Slovaks beat Belarus 10-1 so they have firepower. The Swiss are more defense minded so this is a contrast in styles.

Germany +.5 +525 over Sweden 1 unit

Both these teams have lost to Canada.

Canada 4 Germany 1
Canada 8 Sweden 2

The German goaltender was brilliant against Canada whereas the Swedish goalie was brutal. I thought the Swedes really quit against Canada. The Germans will be all the Swedes can handle.

Finland -.5 -110 over Czech Republic .5 units

The Finns are tough and skilled with better goaltending.

silly question. is that german line correct? what is the favorite price?

That was Sweden at -.5 -800

Final SCore Sweden 7 Germany 2

Germans were tired after battling Canada.

trust me im not trying to be a dick here (reversal of form?) but whoever made that line is clueless and needs lesson on booking pucks. why not sweden -2.5-350? or -3.5-250? or even better(if i was booking it) -4.5-50? it would certainly generate more two way action AND lesson the risk on the books part. i think the huge straddle in that line proves they dont want any action!

Your Right.
You live in Vegas.
Are the hockey linesmakers really that stupid?
Or are they hoping that one of these big dogs come through?

incompetent, not stupid. but i doubt very much LV linesmakers are making numbers for world junior...

I won my 2 unit play yesterday but lost with Germany(a huge dog) and a late goal allowed the Czechs to tie the Finns.

Czech Rep -.5 +105 over Sweden for 3 units

The Swedes have a shaky goaltender.

Slovakia +.5 -120 over the USA 1 unit

This game is a toss up I will take the half puck.

Canada -.5 -225 over Finland

Canada will be PUMPED for this one. The Finns played yesterday while Canada prepared for this one. Huge edge to Canada in special teams. Because of the inflated price we will only wager 2 units.

Thanks for the feedback Bobby and by and large I agree with you.

Coutts,

David LeNeveu starting in net tonight, tough to lay that much against a team that was expected to give Canada a challenge this year.

From TSN...The Canadian team will come up against their toughest opponent to date, as star Finnish goaltender Kari Lehtonen will start in net for the Finns. The Atlanta Thrashers made Lehtonen the second overall pick in the NHL draft in June.

(Another part) But the edge in goal goes to Finland, who has one of the best junior goalies in the world in Kari Lehtonen. He was the second overall pick last year by the Atlanta Thrashers, just behind Rick Nash in the NHL Entry Draft. He is the highest European goalie ever taken and earned plenty of fame at the Under-18 championships in 2000. His domination of the heavily favored Russian squad led to a shocking 2-1 victory for the underdog Finns.

Canada beat Finland 6-3 in an exhibition game before the tournament began but the Finns had Tuomas Nissinen in net instead of Lehtonen. Finland was outshot 35-19 in their most recent game against the Czech Republic but Lehtonen was the star in goal who salvaged a tie.

I'll be rooting for you.......and Team Canada!!!!!! 3-2 Canada final /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

GO CANADA GO!!!

The line is now Canada -.5 -250 with Finland +.5 +180.

I am already down on Canada but without MA Fleury in goal for Canada this game is now a pass.

-250 take back +80 ?
whoever put that line up has no clue.
what a bunch of frauds!

Canada only needs a tie to win Pool B and secure a bye in the medal round. I am very uncomfortable with my earlier wager on Canada at -.5 -225.

Oh well sit and sweat.

took the fins +.5+80...hate betting into that straddle.
guess i have to watch it now!

The Fin netminder will be seeing a lot of rubber as well as trafic in front of the net. Canada may only win by two goals in this one.
