1665 is definitely intriguing as those two have been the best looking in round robin AND they cannot meet until the finals. Finland Vs Russia semi's is in the cards -- Russia will get her shot at revenge as it was Finland that knocked them out at Socchi. No doubt Russia is licking its chops to get them back on home soil. This Finnish team is solid. With Russia, you just never know who shows up. They certainly have the talent. The Swedes and USA have both looked awful. Can they somehow find magic in the elimination rounds?

Excellent Breakdown. The Czechs expected to come out a bit overwhelmed by the moment, go down to USA 1-0 but Roar Back and overwhelm USA periods 2 and 3. If the Czechs do get past USA Team Canada will have a GAME on their hands from a very invigorated & confident and fairly capable "Dark Horse" Czech Squad that is possibly getting written off by too many. Dangerous Czech Team if they can play together as well in this elimination round as they have to this point.

Finland v. Russia as you say seems In The Cards and if it does come to pass this will be a Monster of a game.

As would be whatever Final Matchup resulted. Canada rematch v. Finland after Finnish 4-0 drubbing that very few saw coming, Russia v. Canada....

The Czech Team though has shown enough Unity, Desire (Hunger) & Talent to where if they do manage to throw a wrench into the works here no one should be surprised. Czech team's presence here in fact off the performances they've shown make this a lot more interesting IMO. I'll be stunned if USA can drop them.

It appears so and also that the Finland/Denmark start time will be delayed (11:30 am EST start shown) so that game is not at the same time as CZK/USA (9am EST).

Canada just went off scoring 2 Rapid Fire + 1 not long before those, so up 4-0 now.

Germany went up 1-0 on Russia, ended 1st Pd. 1-0 Russia has gone 3-0 in the 2nd with time still left so 3-1 RUS.
