He did walk off the field himself, so that might be a bit better. Thigpen is good though. I like Cassel's game but couldn't understand the trade when they had Thigpen. Too much money tied up in Cassel now.

the fact he has not come back in espically with how he has kind of struggled in the preseason makes me think its somewhat serious, hopefully its a sprain at worse to a knee ligament, i have the game on now, havent seen the play yet. he didnt even attempt a pass tonight

X-Rays were negative but it still hurt

Matt Cassel-QB- Chiefs Aug. 30 - 12:24 am et

X-rays on Matt Cassel's knee came back negative after he left the Chiefs' Saturday night preseason game early.
Cassel left the field without assistance, but was noticeably limping. His status for the preseason finale is uncertain, and we can probably expect a secretive approach from the Chiefs about Cassel's Week 1 availability. Kansas City's new GM, Scott Pioli, hails from the Bill Belichick tree.

if croyle was to start, ravens would become a bigger favorite, if thigpen got the nod, probably stay about the same

i remember seeing that hit on cal and he got LIT up. dude had a serious concussion, so as soon as the trainers put a towel under his head (limit the strain if he had a neck injury) he started throwing up. it was just bad, he wasnt even moving

reports are coming out in kc that cassel is out 2-4 weeks

That would be pretty funny because as soon as I saw your post I traded Cassel and Pierre Thomas for Eddie Royal, David Garrard, and Jamal Lewis in my fantasy league haha.
