The Panthers are first 15-1 team to make Super Bowl since 1985 Bears.
15-1 teams are 2-0 in Super Bowl history. Ironic that Carolina coach Ron Rivera was the Bears LB then and should make history
repeating itself, unless the NFL wants Peyton to go out a winner.
Can't wait to see who the Refs are.
Early prediction- Carolina 46- Denver 10
Same score when the Bears beat NE.
Can history repeat itself or will the National Fixed League, control
the outcome with Denver winning 24-21



Also line will not matter in this game. I know the NFL would nothing more than to see their (Peyton) Cash cow go out in style.
But remember what happened 2 years ago when the young hungry Seahawks smothered Manning and these Bronco's.
Carolina resembles them with a better QB, and special teams. Same smothering defense, just ask Palmer and Wilson.

My take on Teams Defenses

Panthers have the edge because Manning is easier to defend than Newton

I'd take the Panther's defense for one reason. It's not so much breaking down each defense, but what you have to defend. Right now, it's easier to defend Manning and the Broncos' offense than it is to defend Newton and what he does.
Newton is the single person that will make a difference for Carolina.
Denver has to play the game of their lives or get all the calls for the Refs.
When you continually find ways to get turnovers, you're giving your offense more opportunities to score. The Panthers have done that all year and have scored on defense, too. When you do that, you're going to win games.

I do see this 2 weeks with help Denver more than the Panthers, because it gives the older guys time to heal. I'm old and know this feeling.

I remember these SB's.......the Skins 42-10 was nice because me & my 3 friends were watching it together & we were in our late teens I believe.....Denver took a 10-0 lead & the rest was history.......Skins exploded & scored 42 unanswered pointts.

I also believe that this SB will be balanced as far as the betting goes........I don't believe the numbers being posted by the concensus sites out there.

My brother was at his friends bar last night & he heard nothing but Denver & how Manning is looking to go out in style......& we live in Pa.......so no favoritism in our state for either team.

I'm gonna dig around trying to find any angles, systems for the SB that I can find......

Any secondary that includes Courtland Finnigan, as one of their starters, is not that good. This Carolina defense is not nearly as good as the Seattle defense of two years ago. Outside of Keuchly, Norman and Davis there wouldn't be any one who could start on that Seahawk team. I love the fact that the Broncos are going into this game as an underdog. They may not win but they won't be blown out by Carolina.

it is fresh in peoples minds. and to the public eye... people may argue Carolina is better than the seattle team that won it. I don't think so. Defense is not nearly as good. and I'd take gamer Russel Wilson over Cam newton. The matchup in that game was Denver offense vs Seattle defense. and there was no Denver defense to match up with Seattles offense.

True... Denver's defense is the real deal. I'm not worried about Denver's offense scoring since I KNOW the defense will score. Carolina's defense plays zone coverage...every zone has a weakness and that's where Manning will destroy them.
