just looking at the current rosters for both teams, fully expect russia to seriously lay the wood on this south korean team. russian team has 3 solid wnba players (hammon, stepanova, abrisomova) and the womens bball league in russia is much more competitive (during the wnba offseason, the upper echelon players of the wnba go to russia and get paid 6 figures to play in the russian leauge). s. korea did not win their match against brazil. it was given to them.

line is a reflection of how poorly the russians have played their 1st 2 matches. russians lucky to be undefeated in pool play. belarus a solid middle of the pack team but likely will not advance to the quarters (likely russia & australia). russia by DD.

czech republic/spain und 140
two defensive minded teams. cannot see both teams scoring more than 65 each in this one.

china/new zealand ov 141 1/2
china is a legit medal contender and will probably advance to the medal round with the US. new zealand plays zero defense. Allowed Mali, of all teams, to score 72 points on them. china should score at least 90 on them. Hoping new zealand makes up the difference.

after watching each of the usa's & mali's two games, i am comfortable laying the 60 1/2 (gulp). mali's best player may or may not play in this one (twisted knee or ankle) but i even if she does, it won't matter. the u.s. wins by 10 touchdowns ( i hope ) :toast:
