Howard beat NCCU yesterday 74-59 as five girls all scored 10 or more points. Hampton won both meetings by 12 (76-64) and by 7 (59-52) in 2013-14. Last year in the regular season it was 52-50. In last year's conference tourney, Howard beat NC A&T and then lost by 21 (59-38) to the Lady Pirates.

This game is being played at the Norfolk Scope along with the men's tournament. I live about 4 miles from where this game is being played. Hampton is the league's best team and it should come down to them and NC A&T but I am hoping the Howard can keep it close in this early game. GL!

MSM is 19-12 and favored by -7.5 so it looks like we won't see OT to get this over. These two played twice in the Northeast Conference and we saw 177 and 147 points scored. MSM beat Wagner 77-65 (142 points) earlier in the week. Other scores for MSM only reached 141, 136, 116, 105, 162, 139, 158, 129, 124, 127, 126, and 163 (OT).

St. Francis is 14-16 and just played a 2 OT game that ended 132-124. Their previous game was at 176 and others before it were 151, 177, 156, 171 and 135.

Hopefully, MSM will be prepared for the offense of the Red Flash and keep the score under control. We win with the under if we get a 90-80 type of game. It's not often you see a total this high and a lot has to go right for this to reach 173. GL!
