Boxingscene has investigated a recent report in an overseas paper regarding the possible drugging of Wladimir Klitschko prior to the Lamon Brewster bout this past week. Wladimir has complained that by the second round he was getting extremely weak and not in an out of shape way. We have confirmed through several sources that there may indeed be some fire to this smoke that is rising over the alleged drugging.

“Even after the fight Wladimir could not speak like he was on a tranquilizer” one close source disclosed to me. “He couldn’t talk couldn’t speak like he was totally paralyzed”

“The entire issue seems to revolve around some problems that occurred in the dressing room prior to the fight” this from another source close to the camp.

We have also learned that a film made in the dressing room unbeknownst to anyone shows suspicious activity connected to liquid that was later ingested by Klitschko.

The sudden odds changing from 11-1 to 4-1 with big bet activity in the last hour prior to the fight is also leading to further testing of Wladimir and some questions being asked.

Mark Ratner of the Nevada State Athletic Commission verified that additional blood work had been done above just the one that showed a blood sugar problem.

“Yes, additional blood work was done but, no formal protest has been submitted. To date no formal protest is lodged”

Though no formal protest has been lodged our sources reported

“We have the proof; it will be out in a few days”

When asked directly if they thought someone may have slipped Wladimir something the answer was an emphatic

“Yes, we have the proof of it now”

We contacted Mario Rivera of the WBO stated that

“We have received no formal protest as yet from the Klitschko Camp and of course we must receive one before anything can be done.”

We asked what the steps would be if a protest was filed

“As soon as a protest is received the Championship committee of which I am not a member will study the merits of the demand and take it from there”

Our sources made no reference to alleged perpetrators at this time but news will be coming soon they have promised.

No reference was made to who was seen on the tape or to who is suspected of involvement.

i usually laugh at this stuff...i`ve heard all kinds of excuses for another wlad fold....but,the odds movement has me holding back this time...that`s a monster odds adjustment......personally,i can`t remeber a bigger adjustment.....

it`s probably b.s.....we`ll see if anything more comes of it....it is boxing...plenty of shenanigans can go on.....

let`s see if anything shakes out....probably just the usual b.s. after a loss..

but,those odds....whew....

A writer friend of mine who works for one of the top boxing websites gets flown into Vegas all the time by Don King to watch the fights. In return he writes up articles on King's fighters. Kings has done this about 10 or 12 times in the past. Well, this time.. King gave my writer friend 20k and told him to bet 19k on Brewster for him, and then said he could keep the dime for himself, but King then said, but if you're smart, you'll bet it on Brewster. This is not bullshit, this is a fact. In all the times he was been flown down to Vegas to watch fights by King, Don has never made or asked him to place a bet. This is true shit! BULLSHIT!

King and alot of other people got very lucky because Brewster was one uppercut away from dream land.
All i know is that this makes boxing look very bad once again.

The line dropping from 11-1 to 4-1 wouldnt be that big of a thing if theres not alot of action in play on the fight. If not alot of money has been bet on the fight it wouldnt take tons of money to swing the line like that. Although it does show there was at least someone who had some serious confidence in Brewster.

If someone collects over 10 grand in winnings from the book the need to take their ID and take some information from them. If theres an investigation then they would be able to find out who won the money unless a fack ID was shown when cashing the ticket.

Big KO - come on.

I'm sure Wlads camp wouldnt let anyone get their hands on his drink if they werent part of his team.

I have my doubts. I think Wlad just folded but who knows.

This story is a joke. He wasnt drugged and Souza didnt do jack sh!t to him that would contribute to him losing. Wlad dosent have the heart of a fighter. Its that simple.
