some injury notes and other stuff:

VT@GT VT 8-1 on Thurs. nights/ GT 8-8. GT lost OG Brezina for good with a genetic condition that causes a narrowing of the spine. He had started the 1st 4 games.
Mif@UNC UNC SS Sensabaugh talking trailer trash about Miami's simple off. scheme. Seems to think UNC can hang with anyone. That's great talk from the the second to last defense in 1A giving up 504 yds/game; 1246 yds the L2 vs NCST and Ut. To UNC's credit they have the #1 SOS so far facing, with MiF, 5 of 8 teams ranked in Top 25. They did roll up 299 yds in 1st half vs Ut, but had 4 TO's. UNC's SQB Durant is 3rd in ACC pass efficiency, but left the Ut game with a sprained elbow. HC thinks he should play vs MiF.
Mif's Berlin has been hot the last 3 weeks throwing 11TD and has the top passing game in ACC. They did lose a SDT and SOG LW after losing a SOT earlier. With Miami's recruiting, it's plug and play.

MN@IU IU's OL is really banged up having lost it's third starting OL. Have only 5 healthy experienced OL left. CB Porter hurt who also leads team in INT's with 3. Only P on team roster hurt as well as best KR. IU also 2nd worst rush def in Big 10. Mn ran for 400+ LY in 55-7 rout.

AF@Wyo AF gave up 7 plays of 25+ yds LW vs BYU which had it's back-up QB in. Wyo has 16 plays of 30+ so far TY with 10 TD's. AF has been outscored 144-81 in 2nd half TY. A must win for both teams to achieve a bowl bid as a loss will give either team 3 losses in conf.

USC@WSt USC lost last time at WST, but WST not as good as then. WSt's D was to be it's strength TY but has not produced. It's O is weak and is starting redshirt frosh QB for 2nd time. It's RB Bruhn is also doubtful. HC said it will try anything this week as there's nothing to lose.

Fla@Geo Fla players really pissed off at firing of Zook. Some left the team meeting with AD at announcement and players questioned him to his intentions. Some players looking to transfer being fed up with AD's decisions. Zook was a players coach. Will they play hard vs Geo?

PSU@OSU PSU SQB Mills may miss game with lingering concussion symptoms.

OreSt@Az Az will start Frosh QB for 2nd time. Def is wearing down as gave up 30+ L3.

You're welcome Pags, hope it helps.

Coupla more items.

Tam@Baylor Baylor has lost SQB King for the season after suffering a broken hand vs IaSt LW. Backup Bell will start. He has been in 7 games and has thrown for 2 TDs and 189 yds.

Tx@Col Tx is 19-2 SU on the rd vs non- Okl opponents.

Wash@Ore Wash has only 4 Sr. starters on the team. They've had injuries to 3 WRs,FB,OT,and 2DTs. 3 QBs battling for the starter's job with a combined completion % of just under 40%. Wash has blown out Ore the L2Y even when, in '03, Ore tried to avenge the '02 home loss when Wash players danced on their home midfield after the victory. Ore is at Cal next week.
