do Darius Songalia, Etan Thomas or Oleksiy Pecherov have any business being in the NBA?

i dont care about Thomas or Pecherov since there money will be off the books after the end of this year, Songalia has an extra year at 4 then Foye did, so hopefully he will be at least a decent guy.

pumped we got that 5th pick though, miller is horrid. foye is decent, but undersized and injury prone. at best, he is a nba backup player.

Read this guys blog everyday. He is very hesitant to post any rumors. If he posted it, looks like it is pretty solid.

Pecherov is a bust. He is too slow and doesn't have the talent to make an NBA rotation. He will be out of the NBA after his contract is finished.

Songalia is a decent back up. He has a mid range jump shot and can give solid minutes off the bench at the 4.

Thomas is not very good. He is a big body but he will do little to improve your team.

I think the Wizards get better in the short term in this deal. Minny has to draft the right guy at 5 to make this deal worth it for them.

I wouldn't say Miller is horrid. The guy had a bad year last year, but how much of that was attributed to playing in Minnesota and being out of the playoffs after 10 games? Makes for a long season. Think he can contribute off the bench for the Wiz next season.

Don't know much about Foye because he has been stuck in Minny. Aside from being injury prone, does he play the 2? Can he play the 1? How is his outside shooting?

I think Miller can be solid for them, if he turns it around, which is a big if for me. What I like most about him is his size and his 3 point shot, which was not even close to being there last season. I don't see how he's a starter in Washington, because he doesn't have the athletic ability and explosiveness to play the 2 and you got butler at small forward.

Foye is a hybrid combo guard, plays the 1 and 2, but not good enough at either position to be a starter. At his peak, he is a 20-25 minute 10-15 point per game backup. He should not be starting on any team that is serious about making a run for a NBA title. He is a solid outside shooter. My inly thing with him is he's too small and is injury prone.

If Foye can't start for us next year, then I don't know why we would pull the trigger. This now leaves a gluttony of guards. Arenas, Nick Young, Crittendon, Stevenson, Foye, and Mike James.

Hopefully the Wizards are going to make another move before this is all said and done.

The players the Wolves got are not very good. Basically, the trade was Miller and Foy for the #5. The players are worthless.

How do you feel about the trade now?

Minny drafts two point guards with the 5th and 6th pick. What a joke your franchise is. Horrible pick in Rubio.

Agree Sunday. They can't play both at the same time.

Should of taken Hill and a PG.

I figured they were going to move Flynn. To be honest I would move Rubio. I have a couple friends that played in the Big East last season and all of them agreed Flynn was the best player they faced last year.

from what im reading, flynn and maybe 18 or 28 for chandler, which would be great because im high on chandler and hes a true center, which could then put Jefferson at his natural 4.

With Blair still available at 23, the Wiz should ship Stevenson, 32 pick, and Mike James somewhere.
