Withdrawals -- isn't it annoying when...

they reduce your balance automatically when you request it yet they take their usual time (several hours) to process it?

I mean, where is your money during this time, the twilight zone!? Floating in the ether of cyberspace?

If they can make their software do that automatically, then why can't they make it click the SEND button on Neteller automatically? And if they have to check something to make sure the withdrawal is legit, then why don't they have to check anything to reduce your balance?

It's like as soon as you hit "withdraw" the book says "YEEAAAHHH" and jumps lightning fast to take down your balance. Then they say "OK, now let's see if we can GET 'IM and take out their list of 20 things that need to be satisfied to make the payment. Number 1...he's got it...DAMN!...Number 2...he's got it...DAMN!...Number 3...he's got it...DAMN!...and so on...Number 20...he's got it....JEEEZUS FRICKIN CHRIST we have to pay this guy DAMN DAMN DAMN...and then they finally make the payment.

Am I blowing this out of proportion or does anyone else get annoyed by this?

Sometimes they have to check to see if bonus requirements
have been met. This requires individual attention where you
may be far down on the waiting list, depending on the number
of employees they have doing this. Even if there was no bonus
taken, there is often still a rollover requirement {e.g. 1X} to
make a withdrawal.

You think you made a request on line the right way but there is no drop in balance, no instant email, and nothing in your Account transactions that even shows you did it and it was

for sure accepted. Should you call, wait, email, do it again.

Why would they "reduce" your balance when making a withdrawal?
Neteller or other withdrawal fees? It takes time to calculate this,
& this may have to be done manually.

not Mansion or Skybook they are fast (4 hours or so MAx) but not instant.

Maybe I don't understand this thread?? Are you saying if you ask for a withdrawl for 3 dimes and you have 5 dimes in your account at 11am on a Saturday but it doesn't hit your Neteller acc till say 3 or 4 pm, there should still be 5 dimes available for you till 3 or 4 pm?? don't think it works that way. This way the books cover their arse in players trying to wager what is supposedly withdrawn.

What I'm saying is that YOUR money has to be SOMEWHERE at every point in time. It only takes an INSTANT to go from the book to Neteller, so it can only be at one of the two places, not any third place like the twilight zone or cyberspace. I believe a BALANCE is something that shows how much of YOUR money is at the book at any moment in time, and if it is not at the book ie. not in your balance then it should be somewhere else like NETELLER.

Some books like WSEX show a breakdown of your balance into how much is AVAILABLE to bet with and how much is RESTRICTED (ie. waiting for withdrawal, in play etc.). In any case they show you a proper number which shows how much of YOUR money is being held by them at any point in time.

The reason I emphasise it is YOUR money is because when a book puts it into the twilight zone they behave as if it's THEIR money. I'm quite sure many sh*ttier books really do see it as theirs until they realize they have no way to not pay you. It's almost as though this twilight zone thing is a Freudian slip of sorts, revealing in a subtle way how they truly view your money.

I find it interesting that Pinnacle also happens to do it in the way I consider proper ie. (apart from doing the whole thing fast) at every point in time before the instant at which they send the money, the money shows on your balance, and at every point in time after that instant, it's off your balance and on your Neteller account. Pinnacle does not put your money into the twilight zone for even a split second. When you see your Pinnacle balance went down, you can bet your bottom dollar the money is on your Neteller account already.

What Pinnacle does gives me sense of security, and what some others do shakes me up a bit. I was just wondering if it was just me, and it was just an accident that the super elite books happen to do it the way I think is right, or maybe some others thought the same way. Looks like there are fewer like minded people out there than I thought. Oh well, live and learn I guess.

And before anyone calls me a complainer, let me say this is NO BIG DEAL because the most important thing is GETTING PAID in the end. I just had some time on my hands and was wondering if there were any similar minded earthlings out there. If not, again no biggie 'cause I'm used to it by now.

To address another point, if the player decides to wager the money which is supposed to be withdrawn, the book could (and should) just decline the withdrawal. No brainer there. And to have a record of the withdrawal many books give a reference number, or if not there's always the screen save option.

I know what you are talking about. Intertops does this exact thing.

Request w/d sunday night. Balance adjusted monday AM. Money to Neteller Thursday morning.

Between Monday and Thursday mornings, where was this money??? Outer space??

Intertops has really tumbled the last 6 months.

Other books do this same thing sometimes and it is mildly annoying.

Similar instance with me and Intertops this week. Payout requested 2/22,money out of ITOPS on 2/23,but still not in NETELLER as of this morning. Their response is that it usually takes 24-48 hours(no idea why it would take that long) but they added the following this week "Most recently, we experienced technical
difficulties with our link to Neteller and were unable to process requests
within a timely period. As a result, payments out via this method are
backlogged and will take a bit longer than usual for processing.".
I know some of my other books can take a few hours and Pinnacle is instant,but I'm curious as to why this process would take 24+ hours to complete. I've never NOT got paid so it's not too big of a concern,but it can be an inconvenience when I need to rebalance monies across various outlets.
