i wouldnt say im going vegan but i am making a few life changes regarding my eating habits next year. mainly limiting the red meats but if you have recipes or recommendations id be interested. i wont give up my occasional steak and bourbon on the rocks but if there is a good healthy recipes that can work as a substitute to the unhealthy habits i had over the years im all ears. ran my first marathon this year, trying to build off of that and continue a healthy lifestyle. im only 32 with a wife and kid but starting to notice how much better i feel after eating good as opposed to unhealthy. the main problem is time and convenience which leads to quick meals that are unhealthy. throw some suggestions out there man, id be interested.

Get a meal service - they deliver to your house all your meals for the day - you make no mess cooking - you know exactly what you are eating in terms of cals and micros - and it tastes good - I've gotten in real good condition doing this Monday through Friday

be like me and never cook again lol. Go raw vegan for a while and see how you like it. Eat only fruit in the morning, big lunch and a slight dinner.

I actually stopped eating meat about 5-6 years ago. Did it as a New Years resolution and thought it would last one year and mainly did it as part of a weight loss, healthier lifestyle regimen . Ended up losing about 40 pounds(185 to 145) due to healthier eating and running. Have not eaten meat since and feel great physically and more so mentally for the fact that I have not had to resort to eating most animals. I will admit that going completely vegan is not for me(somewhat unfortunately) as i do eat fish occasionally, egg whites, honey, etc. I feel somewhat of a hypocrite being a pescaterian/vegetarian but it is what currently works for me. I do occasionally miss chicken wings and turkey but I only needed to watch a couple videos,to see the torture many animals endure,to remind me that I am helpng animals in some small way.

Cut that pork out and you're set.

Al pastor tacos only time I'll eat pork. I don't get everyone's obsession with bacon. Never did.

Bacon ?? I LOVE Bacon .. and would NEVER give it up.

I wasn't even counting Breakfast in what I usually eat. the Pork I was talking about was a nice thick Center cut Porkchop ..

I'm going to end 2017 and start 2018 with a huge steak.
