Something i have been thinking a lot about here.with so many watching the lines now, do you think linemakers are putting this into their lines now..ck

pinnacle has hung low lines in 2 out of the past 3 weeks. Steelers -1 @ bears and dallas -1 at broncos a good 2 pts or so better (if your taking the steelers or cowboys) than any other book was offering at the time. Both teams lost straight up.

didn't most if not all the line moves win Sat. with the exception of Baylor? I know thats not normal, but line moves should figure into anyones capping.

I know exactly what you are talking about ck. I have noticed that quite a few lines are posted and then moved off key numbers, those games seem to be covering.

NFL examples today

Chi -10 then moved to Chi 9.5, could be read both ways but chi covers

N0 -7 then goes to -7.5, seems like that is baiting jets bettors, NO covers

Den +3 then goes to Den +2, again looks like they are trying to draw in cowboy backs, Den covers

I personally see the line moving on and off of key numbers than I have ever before

yep and you can add SF to that today as well..i may be totally stupid here but i like to think in the last 15 yrs i watch lines like a hawk here as most know and something over the last months with lines moves i have never seen, again maybe im totally off base but just putting it out there.ck

As you should know by now, Pinnacle games that are lined 1 with heavy juice are set that way strictly for teaser defense.

They do it all the time, and have been doing it for a few years.

You may also notice that a lot of games lined 7.5 ... 8 ... in that range ... everywhere else, will be lined 9 at Pinnacle with heavy juice. Same deal ... teaser prevent defense.

I'm guessing it's some kind of double-reverse pyschology conspiracy theory that all the linesmakers are in on ... but I can't be sure.

not really that high of juice when you were getting 2 points from most books and passing a key number (-3). juice should have been around -170 for cowboys -1, yet it was around -130, so they were hanging a low number.

seems there ml was around -150 which seems low in my opinion.

no halifax is right, they do it to prevent 6 pt teasers crossing key numbers. You won't find any 2 pt or 8 pt fav's at pinny, hardly ever. A good way to check is look at the money lines, they were about equal once you take in to account pinnacles low juice
