I think wisconsin is going to come barreling out of the gate here and be on top of their game. Wisconsin should be very competitive in the Big 10 this year, while I feel WVA will be taking a step back from a surprising year LY. A top Big 10 team vs a mid-to-low Big East team is not a good matchup IMO.

I haven't looked in-depth at this match yet, but my early opinion is wisconsin by 10+. This might turn out to be my biggest play this week. I would probably bet Wisc up to -6 or so...

good luck whoever you pick, and enjoy the game. I be watching Zack Mills and company beat the hell out of Temple

Running game will be too much for the West Va. Expect Davis to run wild. Considering strong play on the Badgers.

REports on wr Evans are is better then ever in practice. Badgers may have strongest wr corps in country. Davis is a nice compliment to balance out offense. Badger OL may take some time to gell with only 2 starters back but replacements are solid. Also, UWV brings back no starters to DL and only 4 back on D.

I will be at the game also on sat. dont read into that Wvu only brings back 4 on defense. They return everybody in the secondary and have Wiley and Leaonart back at linebacker. Leaanart was a co-starter last year and should be fine. Everybody on defense had a lot of playing time last year. The only question mark on defense seems to be on the d-line. Wvu is undersized compared to Wisky's O-line. But Wvu will be much quicker off the ball. Also with Wvu putting a new defense in last year than ran basic stuff out of it. this year they are expecting to blitz a lot more. Wisky has not seen this, not even on tape. this could pose a problem.
On offense I think Wvu can stop davis but I look for Wisky to throw the ball a lot more on Wvu. Wisky will have problems with Marshall who everyones says coming out of camp has been throwing theball great. Dont think wvu is weaker at tailback this year than last. With Quincy Wilson back he is stronger, quicker, bigger than Avon Courbourne so it is not a drop off. If wvu can show they have someone other than M.Henerson atWr to throw to Wisky will have a lot of problems. I alos look for Wvu to throw to the tight end a lot in order to freeze Wisky's linebackers keeping them honest and off stacking the line of scrimmage. Throw in playing at home and the emotions of the first game and you could have an upset. If the line goes to +3 1/2 or higher Id play wvu.

Word out of Morgantown is that Starting O-lineman Tim Brown considered the best lineman is out for the year with a torn achilles. Big loss for Wvu as he is protecting Marshalls blind side. Possible replacement could be a redshirt freshman....

After seeing other people's thoughts on the game and researching it some more, I'm going to take the Badgers. I just worry about playing at WVA it can be a tough place for the visitors to play.......
