Breaking this one down. Trying to figure out just how they got beat down so bad in B10 championship? Defense did not allow more than 28 in any other game, and allows 2X that vs Ohio St. I didnt really watch much of that game, but what the hell happened? Did they just get down and quit perhaps? Anyways, as good of an offensive mind as Gus is I think he might be able to take something from that game and use it to his advantage.

They were out of it. Never found a groove and coaches could not recover. They need to redeem their season b y beating Auburn and they have the weapons to do that.

The pace of Malzahn's Tigers will have the Badgers COMPLETELY exhausted in the second half. Wisconsin might be able to keep it close early, but Wisconsin is not going to be able to slow the Tigers down in the second half. Tigers pull away to win by 20.

isnt every discussion with an SEC team - all about the speed.... and blowing teams away.... dunno about blow out - but bowls are def not predicatable - motivation, suspensions, academics, NYE hangovers... etc good luck - im leaning wisconsin - public always seem to like SEC and therefore points are inflated slightly, but everyone is better fading me... i suck (my book would disagree with me though)

Auburn played up against rival bama but ended up getting blown out. Other than that game they looked like crap imo. Badgers ? Coming off complete waxing by osu. Lots would say oh they are mad. That stuff is bullshit! Being mad might help but not why teams win. Badgers better team imo and if they play their game with ground attack and good d they win outright.

No doubt it's been a tough bowl season for most. It seems the old adage that "on any given Sunday" (Ya I know it's Thursday, Lol) anything can happen. So for pizza and beer money I'll take the +7 and maybe an extra pizza 'n wings and a two-four if it gets to +7.5. Good Luck to all whatever you decide and Happy New Year for 2015!!! Cheers :toast::):) cheersgif Salute!!

My decision is based on the Badgers running game and their defense but since SOS really clouds the issue that probably means squat. GL

Who is coaching Wisconsin? Alvarez?

yes alvarez. the players asked him. he said he would think about it. then thye pretty much hounded him the next day into it. i think thye will play hard for him since it was the players that asked - that means a lot.

I think Wisconsin was made to lay down against Ohio St. just so the wow factor would get a big 10 school in the playoff! I know it sounds crazy but there's a lot of financial gain by the big 10 due to the way that game played out. Just my opinion. If Wisconsin is really that bad this one may not be close either. Good luck.

teams that get beat badly ATS in conference title games come back with a vengeance in bowl games. came into play last night with Boise too

dogs of 2+ in bowl games that failed to cover their conference game by more than a TD are now 13-4 ATS

dogs of 6-13.5 that allowed 25+ in their conference title game are 10-1 ATS in the bowl game

dogs of 2.5 or more than scored under 30 points in their conf title game are 20-8 ATS in the bowl game

Should I take the 7.5 now or roll the dice and hope to get a better line in game?

I know it's just one man's opinion but I personally would take that line. If anything I would think it'd bounce back to 7. gl sir

Yeah I'm sure Alvarez went to the head coach and told him to lay down for the sake of the Big 10. And then Anderson had a meeting with the players and said...."boys, we're gonna lay down today and let Ohio St. win so they can get in the playoff for the good of the Big 10." :ohno:
