Spending a lot of time in Harrahs at Council Bluffs these days, trying to catch a good streak on BJ

I seem to attract the idiots, the 10/face card splitters, and the hitters on hard 17 and it's messing up my winnings

Druncks come over to a hot table and totally put the cooler on it

Any advice from the hardcores on here? Is it worth it to get a private table to ride out the streaks without some jackass wrecking the flow of the cards?

Let me guess, you want to find a hot table, ride out a big lucky streak and get out of there before the table turns "cold", am I right?

Why do you say such a thing? Ive got no beef with Mr Packer, he seems a bit on the superstitous side rabbits foot kind of stuff.

My thing is playing quick hits, half an hour at most and trying to catch the flow of the cards. I don't have the grey matter to argue probability and math

Do you honestly think a casino is going to allow a game where people can jump in, win big, and jump out, avoid losses at will?

Casinos operate on the illusion of winning. All casino games are -Ev (except Poker, when counting cards at Blackjack and arguably sports betting), this is how they make their money

Keep an eye on the Baccarat table the next time you're at Harrahs (assuming they have it there). Streakiest game around, right? So why does the casino allow people to track the banker/player outcome of each game on a little card with a little pencil? Because streaks are only obvious IN HINDSIGHT

There are no streaks there is only random outcome per hand

Take my advice and go pump gas if you want a consistent source of income

Packer is a donkey. Anyone that thinks they can beat blackjack without counting is also a donkey. You can't make money in a casino, it's just an entertainment expense. If you are wanting to win at blackjack, learn how to count, it's not rocket science.

Casinos give out several nights stay for free & tons of free meals to casino players for a reason, they know the player usually loses their money.......

Like others have posted, unless you can count cards, blackjack can't be beat.

Sure there are guys that get on very lucky streaks & win thousands, if not hundreds of thousands in casino games but those are few & far between.

I knew a guy (he's not living anymore, really cool guy) that won over 1 million in blackjack at Taj in AC......he would call up the casino, get a couple of rooms for free comped & he would go down with several high rolling friends but he's also lost more than 1 million playing blackjack.

I will let you guys handle the donkey. It won't matter what you prove to them. It wouldn't matter if you hit them in the head with a sledge hammer. They are all non-believers. They worship the flow of the cards, the HOT table, and lets not forget the lucky streak.
