ANYONE belive that the winnerof the wash-chic game will be correct in predicting the winner of prez election??..saw something that since 1932 winner has predicted election???anyone know the stats???..and how this angle works...just caught the end of it....DANO

According to the Elias Sports Bureau since 1940 whenever the Redskins win their last home game before an election the incumbent wins - if the lose that game the challanger wins. In 2000 it did not come into play as the incumbent (Clinton) could not run. There are other oddball things like whose Halloween sells the most or how high hem lines are etc. All for laffs.

Now I swear this is true. I was just watching a piece on election gambling on MSNBC.com which interviewed a Ladbrokes spokesman. It was said that the odds will change after the G.B./Wash game.

All of these costly attempts to fix the election and apparently all you got to do is fix one football game.
