Nadal is -5 against Kyrgios. Seems like a great bet.

I saw Kyrgios in some of his grass matches. He has looked like absolute shit. Got blasted 6-0 against Thompson.

I'm telling you, if Rafa takes the 1st set... I think Kyrgios will pack his bags. He is the king of quit on the tour.

Looks like he fought hard. takes the 2nd set and lost 2 tie breaks.

I didn't watch live though. Saw he aced on the underhand serve. Thats solid strategy and should be used more since damn near everyone is a base liner now. Would be extremely effective on clay. Underhand serve to a baseliner. Barely gets anything on it plus draws them in to set up a pass. Federer plays like that on grass. Draws people in on the slice and then sets them up for the pass.

It is a higher percentage drop shot

Surprised by the effort and outcome. Congrats to Kyrgios.

In the end, though, what that says to me is that Kyrgios -- had he been dedicated and motivated year round in his preparation and mental game -- he would've beat Nadal again.... and extended his H2H with Nadal.
