This takes the cake for another worthless post. Congrats GTC, your always a front runner

PS:

AJ Price is a thief and highly overrated. Fuck him and the same goes for the pathetic T-Wolves.

AJ Price made a mistake as a 19 year old kid, stealing a laptop. He paid his price with a one year suspension, and has been nothing but a class act since then under the Maker of Men's guidance.

He was one of the best PG's in the country last year. Recovering from a torn ACL resulted in a totally expected slow start, but he is back now.

AJ Price is better than any guard on Pitt, will win more accolades than any guard on Pitt, will be drafted higher than any guard on Pitt. Anybody who run's Jimmy offense as good as he does with the skills he has will be a first round draft pick, it's tradition.

AJ is a fifth year Senior GTC, he's coming out, although I don't believe the T Wolves will use a lottery pick on him.

If the Wolves really feel in need of a PG, why not go for The Greatest PG in the World? I hear the NY Knicks will listen to offers.

Now why you bring Pitt into the equation is funny thou. Must of struck a nerve. The reality is Wullie, Pitt doesnt chase McDonald All Americans. They like coachable guys, and lets be honest - most of the guys that roll out of UCONN are selfish isolation players, AKA: PERFECT for the NBA. Fields is a 5-11 thick guard, that wont be an NBA starter and most likely a FA or a late second round pick. But im a college hoops fan, not an NBA fan. And this strategy cant be that bad.... i mean how many BE championships has UCONN won lately? And the far less talented Panthers won how many? I guess it comes down to coaching, huh? Jim has better talent yet cant win. Or maybe Pitts philosophy is just better suited for the college game? Either way you look at it, Priceis a late first rounder or a second rounder with little impact in the NBA with that atrocious perimeter game.

We interrupt this program to smile at a common malaprop in written English

"...must of struck a nerve..."

should be

"...must have struck a nerve..."

which audibly sounds like, "must've", though that spelling would itself be very clumsy.

Damn Fletch, I actually thought you had a clue about BEAST basketball. Do you even know how few Burger Boys Jimmy has recruited? Let us just say that teams like Duke and UNC have more on the floor in many years than Jimmy has had in 21 years.

And they may have been your most accurate point. Coachable players? The kids that come to UConn have no freedom in his system thus they always struggle as freshman, but once they learn his system they leave NBA ready. Ray Allen & Ben Gorden were 50+ recruits, Okafor 100+, Armstong was number 311, Caron Butler arrives a problem child and leaves a mega star, Chaz arrives lazy as leaves a number 7 pick, do you think Williams or Boone were locks? Reggie Lewis didn't even start on his HS Team, leaves Jimmy and goes on to NBA Stardom. Jimmy has the most players and the most productive players in the NBA because HE COACHED THEM and made them men.

Can't win? :nohead:

10 regular season championships, 6 BET Titles, two National Titles, 7 Elite Eights, 39-13 in the NCAA's and 29-12 in the BET since 89/90. Going into last year, they had the 2nd best wins vs seeding ratio in the nation in the Big Dance in some analysis done by the USA Today (I think it was the USA Today).

Recruits? do you really think Pitt doesn't want AA's? They can't get them. The only talent Pitt has is thug city, once they leave the BET, their season is over. Do you even know what the Sweet Sixteen feels like Fletch? I think not.

I think that makes you 0 for 4 in your analysis about UConn.

As for AJ, we'll have to let the season play out. We'll see how the first team all BE player from last year rebounds from a torn ACL. Although he's already better than any one of those midget guards on Pitt.

Interesting thread.

I actually think Willie knows more about college hoops than he does politics. (j/k)

I said at best he might be the third best PG in the BE, would you disagree?

I said he has no perimeter game, would you disagree?

I said UCOON likes to recruit isolation players, who are perfect NBA players, hence why they always have top 10 recruiting classes. So, a great school for future NBA talent, but not so much for winning basketball games at the colligate level, at least not in recent memory. Agreed?
