A poor man would have gone to prison, most likely after a one or two day trial. If you're going to do the crime...much better to be rich. The process is someone a big game. Can't really call it Justice. Off today's verdict, most he can get is 364 days in the county jail. They may or may not retry on the reckless manslaughter. After this circus, who knows if they will.
justice is served...again, none of us were at the trial, or involved in the deliberation. individuals are PRESUMED INNOCENT in our great country, not PRESUMED GUILTY.

This trial was televised in its entirety on court TV. Recaps were posted nightly. Many of us do our own thinking. We can disagree with a jury in a New York minute. After the family received the settlement, they came with "it was a accident" which helped William's cause.
