William Hill US just made a deal with 7 Eleven that allows app users to deposit at 7 Eleven for a small transaction fee similar in size to ATM fees. At first I didn't get this deal because William Hills are every where, (at least in Reno) so why pay a small fee when you can just go to William Hill and pay no fee. I guess it's good for rural Nevadans, and plus it's unclear if William Hill is going to cover these fees, which I'm guessing they probably will.
Not that big of a deal in the small picture, but in the big picture this could be huge. I'm speculating that maybe William Hill is getting ready for legalization in the US market. If that's the case having 7 Eleven as a transaction partner is huge. Not sure about the east coast, but here on the west coast 7 Elevens are everywhere.
