very rare i will take a total in an NFL game. As it stands now, EVERY rule in the league caters to the offense, defenses have no chance out there. hit the qb on a pass rush, penalty. db makes a play for the ball, penalty. qb has more than 2 or 3 seconds to throw, and guaranteed to be an illegal contact if a guy literally touches a receiver, doesn't matter if its 3rd and 20 and it happens 7 yds away from the opposite side of the field he throws. hit a receiver over the middle, penalty.
defenses have NO chance out there, so to me it's over or nothing, and i hate taking overs.
