i think Leftwich is the odd ball....his arm is way better then all 3 of them put together - he just has shit for mobility

No he'll be worse. May not even make it. Vick is way overrated too. How bad did he suck last night?

BTW, you might have thought you didn't pick just black QB's, but Leftwich is nothing like those other guys. He is pretty much a pocket passer. Heck for a Young QB still learning he runs very little.

I dont even know who Young is but if he can hold a football over his head without dropping it he's better than Brooks right now...

V. Young is just not a good passing QB. Watch some of his throws, they are in the neighborhood, but the WR has to make a play on them. A short slant route across the middle and Young will throw it at the guys ankles. WR will go down and make the catch, but thats it, while a throw on the money would mean an extra 5-10+ yards after the catch. He will never make it as an NFL QB, he just does not have the accuracy. He might be able to pull of being WR or DB, but will never ever be an NFL qb in my opinion.

vince young will never be an nfl qb. he is a phenomonal athlete but that is it. he's has brutal mechanics and cannot read a defense. texas has set up an offense he can succeed in. the nfl won't be so kind. he will however, make a great tight end/wide receiver. dude is tough to tackle and is huge.

oh, and agree with everyone else. this comparison is ridiculous. vick is a running qb with questionable passing skills. brooks is a passing qb that can run. and leftwich is a pocket passer. vince young is really only comparable to vick imo. he is nothing like brooks or especially leftwich, other than pigmentation. i'm not sure there are many nfl qb comparisons though. best comparison may be matt jones.

I think Leftwich will be better then 'em all. For the record, he runs less than all those guys, but regardless, he's a good pocket QB and possesses a cannon for an arm. Brooks just doesn't seem to be able to put it together for long stretches, but Leftwich is young and has a thirst for winning, and the work ethic to match. Young could be like Michael Vick simply because of his insane athletic ability. If he improves his mechanics, he could be better. He's a freak athletically. He might be more suited to play WR, but you know QBs are stubborn when it comes to switching positions, especially ones that will go top 3 in the draft. This isn't Antwan Randle-El we're talkin about here.

In the end, Leftwich will be the best.

Young might be a Slash-type player. He has a decent arm, but needs a couple years of coaching before he will be an NFL starter. His mechanics are poor and he runs way too soon for the NFL game. I do think over time though the mobile QB will become more of a requirement. Guys like Bledsoe just won't make it for long, too much pressure on the QB these days unless you have a top notch line.

Roethlisberger is A LOT more mobile than Leftwich. Byron Leftwich might be the least mobile QB in the entire NFL. He is a pure pocket passer.

You never know. He definitely isn't a great passer. But the way the game is evolving and mobile quarterbacks are becoming more and more popular, I am sure someone will give him a shot. He won't put up great passing numbers, but that doesn't mean he can't be successful.

Guys like Vick and Young don't have to be as accurate as the pocket passers. Because of their legs they will see more one on one coverage than a guy like Tom Brady. Defenses have to game plan differently for mobile quarterbacks which leaves more holes in the pass defense which in turn means even a less accurate passer can be successful.

VY looked like a more accurate passer in every HS game I saw him in than he has in any game at UT. If I recall he had some pretty errant throws in the Army All American game, though.
