Dont forget about Boise State

You must not have seen the San Jose State game! After that game, who cares about Boise State? They should go to whatever that Bowl is at Boise again (what is it? the Humanitarian Bowl?)

Just a comment on your OKL has no schedule. Actually when You look at the 3 teams, it appears that USC have the easiest schedule. USC has only 1 team in the top 25 in either the coaches poll or the AP poll and that being Calif with their 10-1 record and USC beat Cal 23-17 while Cal only beat Oregon 28-27 while Okl beat Oregon 31-7.
However both Auburn and Okl have played 3 teams each that are currently in the top 25. Okl has beaten number 5 Texas 12-0 and 9-1 record and they have also beaten number 22 and 23 Okl. State and Texas A&M ... both on the road.
Auburn has just beaten number 8 Georgia 8-2 and also Tenn. and LSU who are rated 15 and 17 depending upon which poll you use. It is clear to me that both Auburn and Okl have played a better schedule than USC with the fact that Auburn has Alabama and probably Tenn still left to play ... they get the edge over Okl but clearly USC has played nobody except Calif and who really knows how tough they are with their cream puff schedule ? I'm not saying USC should be left out again but We certainly need a playoff if all 3 of these teams stay unbeaten.

Kermit,

You should no better than to compare common opponents within a season. From that rationale Rutgers could beat Wisconsin b/c Mich St. beat them and Rutgers beat them......Doesn't work.

Vaulted,
Yes you are so correct but the major argument in my post was that USC has only beat one top 25 team and both Auburn and Okl have played and beat 3 top 25 teams and I was simply making the statement that both USC and Calif. have played very easy schedules. I can remember a few years back when just for fun I had Portland State being the National champ as they had beat someone who beat someone who beat someone who eventially won the National Championship in NCAA basketball. Simply doesn't mean much and you caught me red handed trying to spin one ! LOL

Actually USC has played and beat 2 top 25 teams (Cal and Vir Tech). They've also embarrased an Arizona State team that also should be in the top 25 and for some reason isn't (they've only lost to USC and Cal, and beat Iowa 44-7... another example of West Coast injustice in college football). They have a top 25 opponent left and they have played IMO a tougher schedule overall than both Oklahoma and Auburn. USC is far and away the better team, not to mention the BCS owes them bigtime!!!

Also, without a doubt USC and Cal are the top two teams in the country. Both teams would spank either Oklahoma or Auburn by 10+ points in an incentive latent bowl game.

PS. excuse my ignorance... Arizona State is in the top 25... making 3 top 25 opponents for USC.

No, excuse my ignorance, as I wasn't aware that USC had played Virg. Tech and I wasn't aware that Arizona State was in the top 20 but you are right on both points and You certainly are correct that the BCS owes USC one ! As I posted, I in no way was trying to say that USC didn't deserve their number 1 rating. As you can see all 3 of these team have a ligitimate right to be in the Championship playoff and if they all finish the season undefeated, this should spell the end of the BS Championship Bowl !
It is my belief that the spread on this game would be around a field go one way or the other no matter which one of these 2 teams play in the BS Bowl especially if it is USC verses Auburn.

Hey there So cal Baseball,

I suppose you think Matt Leinart is the best QB in the game also...

Just look at the stats. Jason White has much better stats against good teams. The funny thing is I belive Auburn will lose at Bama' on Sat. then we can just get ready for the Orange bowl OU vs. USC.

The whole point is moot. SC will be number one until someone beats them. They are getting some make-up love for last year. If I am an SC booster, I am praying Auburn doesn't make it. I don't think SC would look good at all playing that defense and enough guys have had success running right at SC to make me think Cadillac could have a big game. Now the computers probably make the call because they are keeping OU at number 2 right now. We shall see how much value the computers give to Auburn for trashing Georgia because both teams look like the last few games will be gimmes.

Cjok,
No, I honestly don't think Leinart is the best quarterback in the NCAA. For one I think Aaron Rogers from Cal is better (and a few others). I'm really not basing that on stats. I think Leinart and White are comparable and I think Leinart will make a better pro (just my opinion). IMO USC is the best team based on their overall talent and depth. There are many teams that stack up closely in their respective starting 22-men; however, go 45 deep and USC simply blows every other team away. USC certainly isn't the greatest college team ever. I think that the NCAA as whole is somewhat weak this year comparitably. Last year's USC team might have even been a little better.

I can't find the proposition on their website, and also what is the limit as to how much you can bet on it?
