Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Fantasia Barrino, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks, David Cook, Kris Allen, and Lee DeWyze (listed in chronological order).

It was more entertainment then thinking this show really produced any stars. Without Simon, you just took the entertainment factor out of it. I despise J-lo (she's too in love with herself), and am just tired of Steven Tylor. I used to be an Aerosmith fan back before they became popular.

I thought the only guy that could replace Simon was that English guy Pierce.

I bet their ratings get cut in half this year.

It won't be the last year but it's clearly evident they know they are in trouble and that Simon's show is goint to overtake American Idol sooner or later. They're hoping the signing of big name judges will save the day but it won't. People want to see Simon.....

But a boatload of the finalists from recent years are doing very well.

Taylor Hicks may not be burning down the BillBoard charts, but he just complete an on Broadway gig, and he's selling out blues clubs from here to Cali.
Same with Diana DiGarmo, she's very succesful on Broadway.
A lot of them are making nice money in Branson. Memphis and Nashville................
Pretty much if you finish in the top twelve in any particlar season, you will make a very nice penny for yourself.
