I think it's doable.

used to be 20 years X15 avg wins= impossible.

now like 25 years X12=300.

start young, don't get injured.

Maybe rephrase the ? to say next 30 years and I'd say 50/50 and that includes Randy and all 15 year olds yet to pitch.

EVER I'd have to say 100% YES.

I forgot Sabathia and I get ripped... Please someone counter argue Garland and Buherle....

Garland will be the youngest guy at 100 wins when he reaches it and Buehrle will hold the title when it is taken...

I forgot CC he has a good chance too but unlike Garland who seems to have figured the league out CC struggled since his rookie year...

Anyone care to argue Garland...? Gonna have 100 wins probably at 27 years old... And have back to back 18 win seasons b4 this... Once again I will say it... He doesn't strike a lot of guys out but he gets wins...

CC has a shot if he can continue to pitch and stay healthy... He has had back issues and other things...

I am a White Sox fan yes... BUTTTTTTTTTTT They are going to be the two youngest guys in the game with 100 wins... unless CC gets there... So how is it a bad argument... I actually said Mark B wouldn't get there... But to argue Garland doesn't have a chance makes no sense and I could use some explaining... 100 wins probably at 27 years old... 36 wins in the last two seasons... and having a great start to this year... He was obviously talented drafted I believe in the top 10... and he had to learn at the big league level... Don't know what is wrong with having the two youngest guys with the most wins. Zito is currently the youngest pitcher I believe in the bigs with 100 wins but he should get passed by Garland and Buerhle.

They might not even reach 300 combined :missingte

I hope this is a joke Journey... They are both gonna reach 100 probably by years end.... and both are below 30 years old... one 28 and one 27

And 5 star stop it... You are angry because the Cubs traded Garland who was their number one draft pick for Matt Karchner... if Garland was a Cub right now you would be loving him on this list.

Garland has 85 career wins he will probably end the season right around 100 career wins as long as he doesnt miss any time with injuries... So to get to 300 wins he will have to average 17 wins for the next 12 years I just dont see that happening. Its not a knock on him at all as I do wish the Cubs would have kept him but he wont come close to 300 if you ask me. Id say 250 tops. Most likely 225 wins or so is my guess. Buehrle pretty much the same scenario is at 99 wins right now and I dont see him getting 200 more wins but you never know I guess...

No I said it is a reach... If Garland figured out the league with 18 wins the last two years he has a shot...

I don't think Buerhle has a lot of hope in all honesty...

But I couldn't leave two guys off the list who will be the youngest pitchers in baseball with 100 wins... Call it being a homer but I was looking at a list with the youngest pitchers in baseball to be close to 100 wins and some how missed CC... and those guys were 1-2

Some interesting stats I pulled up on the most recent 300 game winners

Our generation has seen (8) 300 game winners , Glavine should before the 9th , by the end of this season ....

They are Clemens 348 , Maddux 337 , Carlton 327 , Ryan and Sutton 324 , Neikro 318 , Perry 314 , Seaver 311 , and Glavine is currently at 295

at age 25 and age 29
Clemens 78 wins , 144 wins
Maddux 75 wins , 150 wins
Carlton 53 ws and 129 wins
Ryan 48 ws and 122 wins
Sutton 65 ws and 139 wins
Neikro 0 wins and 31 wins
Perry 16 wins and 76 wins
Seaver 75 wins and 146 wins
Glavine 63 wins and 134 wins

Amazing how Neikro only had 31 wins by age 29 , Yet still finished with over 300 for career ... It goes to show how effective a knuckly ball can be to extend a pitchers career ...

As you can see , with the exception of Neikro and Perry ( both knuckleballers ) everybody on this list is currently above any pace , that any current player is at at the same age ... With game changing , I think its gonna be tough for current players to reach this milestone ... ( however wakefiled , very well could be pitching into his late 40's and might have an outside shot , the same way Perry and Neikro got there )

Garland -109 at home against Matt DeSalvo. Buerhle -110 at home against Tyler Clippard. Pretty good prices for two future 300-game winners against two nobodies.

If you read I never once said they would win 300 games...

What I actually said was that they were the youngest pitchers in baseball with 100 wins or would eventually be that so how could I leave them off the list...
