i honestly don't believe so,this guy is simply amazing. So far in 3 games he has 34 catches,2 TD'S which gives him 4 on the season, over 300 yds receiving and just look at what he has done since coming into the league.I just don't see anyone besting him from alabama anytime soon

Alabama is going to be on the downturn. They will still win 9 or 10 though.

i sort of see that also VLAD,but im asking about their WR that come out of there,.....like this year they really don't have a great WR,they are small and all shuffled in and out of the game

Julio is the best WR in the game right now though I'd say.

Cooper is probably top 10 though and he is only a rookie.

Barring injury, the next great receiver at Alabama (could be) true freshman Calvin Ridley. He was a 5star recruit out of HS and was rated the #1 receiver in the nation coming out of Florida last year. He has good size (6-1, 190) and good speed to go with some great hands. So far he is second on the team with 17 receptions.

The Alabama coaches rave about this kid...including Saban.

Cooper is really good but not the physical specimen that Jones is. Time will tell who has the better career.

Not sure what to make of this question --- when healthy, Jones is arguably the #1 WR in the NFL.

So you're asking if Alabama will produce another All-Pro WR? Uhhhhhhh, probably not?

At the same time, it's Alabama --- as long as Saban is running the show, they're a recruiting (and NFL development) machine. If any school can produce multiple All-Pro WRs (or heck, any position), it would be Alabama. Already got Cooper with a promising start.

So glad I picked him as my #1 pick on my fantasy team, though I never thought he'd do this well.

Tyler Lockette is a better player than Cooper. You can laugh now.

He is exciting with the ball in his hands but I think Cooper is being a little underrated because he got drafted to a team that is so inept.

Cooper is already a top route runner in the league from what I've seen.

As a long time Alabama observer I would rate the top 5 all time Bama receivers this way.

1. Jones
2. Cooper
3. Ozzie Newsome
4. Ray Perkins
5. Don Hudson (before my time but old timers say he was the best player to ever play at Alabama)

What makes Jones so good is his physical gifts. He's the best player in the NFL right now.

Didn't Hutson play on the same Bama team with the Bear, the 'Alabama Antelope' probably
the first modern pass receiver

Good memory Neverbend...both he and Bear Bryant played from 1932-34. They went undefeated in 1934 and won the Rose Bowl over Stanford by a score of 29-13. During the 33 and 34 seasons, Alabama only lost one game. Bear was known as the other end during those days. What's interesting...both were from Arkansas.

Hudson was an All-American, member of the CFB Hall of Fame and NFL Hall of Fame. He was a hell of a player for Green Bay from what I've heard.

Alabama has 2 five star quarterback recruits on the roster yet they suck at that position. And I'm not counting Coker. Maybe he was 5 star too.

I don’t think there has been a poster in the history of this forum who has had more spectacularly wrong predictions over the years then this guy
